Suzy shook her head, a bit shaken by her selfless control over her body and yelled, 'No!' surprising him as she ran off.
'I'm intrigued,' Tyler smirked watching her run away.
Escaping temptation, lust and ecstasy, hiding in her room, she blurted out.
'Oh my goodness! What just happened a minute ago? I made out with Tyler, the owner of this place, duh, uh. And, it was sweet like honey. Yet I'm worried that working for him could blow off my cover to get Skylar's and Matt's story. This is going to be challenging since I'm surrounded by hot guys. Especially, Tyler...I'm so screwed. No, I need my dream job and this story will get me my fat bonus paycheck,' she nodded seriously.
Afterward, Suzy showered changing into her snowboarding gear. She wondered if the group recommendation made by Tommy was still available. If not, she would enjoy her time alone snowboarding. She exited her room walking down the hallway, pressed the elevator's button, as soon as it stopped on her floor. It revealed Skylar and Matt dressed in their skiing gears laughing before they faced her.
'Suzy, you're going out for a cold run?' Skylar asked.
Suzy answered, 'Yeah, I need to clear my mind about some things. I thought why not just snowboard it out?' and thought, 'While getting Tyler's kiss out of my system.'
'Great way to solve any problem I say,' Matt chuckled walking out from the elevator with his fiancé.
Skylar smiled, 'Have fun out there, Suzy.' And, she quipped, 'And don't think too much, you'll start seeing bears.'
'I will, thanks for the tip, Skylar, bye lovebirds,' Suzy smiled pressing the last floor button watching the couple waved her goodbye while smiling.
The doors closed descending to the second floor. The doors opened again, Tyler stood there with his hands in pockets his head down low walking in like nothing had happened earlier on. He didn't really notice her.
'What's the matter with him?' She thought realising he looked serious. 'Did something burst his bubble?' side-glancing at him. He was just as handsome as Marvel & DC comic superheroes. She removed her focus off him and faced the elevator's doors. They descended to the ground floor. Before the doors opened, she felt something staring at her, looking left, 'What the...?' she muttered spotting him a bit too close for comfort as he smirked at her, 'Tyler, what do you want?'
Tyler laughed at her blatant question and answered, 'Nothing.'
And, Dakota thought, 'Just your lips, sugar.'
Then Tyler waved it off and asked, 'Are you going out for a ride?' checking out her white and pink snowboarding outfit as she held onto her snowboard underneath her arm at the right side.
'Yeah, I haven't snowboarded in decades. I just wanted to see if I still got it,' Suzy admitted. She smirked cockily and thought, 'I still do' and asked, 'What about you?'
His bear growled obviously attracted to this beauty, 'Tyler, damn it, I believe she has it. Our mate is perfect for us.'
Tyler agreed too. He held back a blush totally interested in her more than Dakota.
'Really? I wouldn't be too surprised if you did. I'm heading out to collect some documents before going back to my office to finish some paperwork,' he answered.
'You must be a very busy guy then,' Suzy quipped smiling.
Tyler's and Dakota's hearts raced at her charming smile and thought, 'We need this woman?' as they observed her eyes realising it was brown and a light glowed in it. It became a caramel brown colour glistening with gold shines, prettily.
'This woman also has an animal bond. There's a defensive wall blocking us from reaching it,' Dakota spoke.
'Are you sure, Dakota? You think she's like one of us?' Tyler replied telepathically to his bear.
He saw through his eyes the truth, his bear nodded, 'I feel a very strange energy or presence within her. There's definitely a bear in her soul, Tyler. She doesn't even have a clue her bear exists.'
Tyler answered her, 'Yeah, I wish I had more time with you, Suzy. Unfortunately, here's our stop.'
The elevator opened as they exited.
'It was really nice talking with you, Tyler,' Suzy smiled. 'I'm still off-limits, though,' she warned jokingly.
Tyler replied, 'I doubt that' and overheard her laugh watching her leave through the front door heading into the snow.
'The paperwork can wait, Tyler. We should keep an eye on her, in case Roy and Gold show up,' Dakota suggested.
'I was thinking the something, let's roll,' Tyler thought grabbing snowboard gears from the spare room, camouflaging himself in white.
Tommy noticed him heading out.
'Going out for a ride, Nakamura? Or is this about catching the beautiful caramel hottie?' He asked indicating that he knew his true intentions.
Tyler shrugged, 'More or less, yeah' and added, 'Dakota believes she's my mate but...'
'But what?' Tommy and his bear questioned.
Tyler explained, 'He believes she has a bear's spirit within her soul.'
'I'll be dang,' Tommy's Texan accent always surprised him. 'You're serious? Does she know about it? Does she know we're bear shifters too?'
His bear, Trevor sensed it, 'Dakota is right I felt something strange when she came in, Tommy. She's definitely our kind but a rare version of us.'
Tommy answered him, 'We'll have to wait and see what happens to her' and his bear agreed as he roared.
Tyler nodded, 'Yeah.' He continued, 'I don't think she knows she has a bear inside her or we're shifters either.'
'Trevor noticed her other half but how are we going to break the news to her?' Tommy asked.
Tyler shrugged, 'I have no idea, Tommy. I just hope Roy doesn't come across her or sense her bear's spirit and harm her. He's going to think she's one of us.'
'Shit! And she's out there alone snowboarding? Tyler, go! The guys and I will meet up with you,' Tommy warned.
Tyler nodded, 'Okay, leave Andrew and Junior in charge' and then he left the Bed & Breakfast quickly.
'Wait for me, Suzy. I'm coming,' Tyler thought.
'No, we're coming,' Dakota muttered as they shifted.
