Chapter 2: Welcome To The Nether

"It's almost finished." Tubbo says as he lets out a yawn.

"It is, but you should go home, we can finish it in the morning. You need your rest." I tell him.

"Alright, but we are finishing it together." He says and I nod at him.

"I'll follow you to the portal." I tell him and he starts his walk.

"I had fun today, Night." He tells me and I smile. "I'm glad I got to spend time with you again."

"It was a fun day, but you have to go home now. I'll speak to you tomorrow." I say and he suddenly looks like he realizes something.

"I have something else tomorrow and I don't know how it will go exactly, so I'm not sure when I can see you again." He says with sad eyes.

"It's okay, I'm always around here. I can wait." I tell him. "It's getting dark now so you better head home. I'll see you soon Tubbo."

"See you soon, Night." He tells me and jumps into the portal.

Its been a day since I last saw Tubbo and I decided I could go an adventure while he was away.

I haven't tested that portal of him yet, but he told me to be careful with it. Obviously I will, but I'm curious about what he told me.

He said there were different leaders in his little town and it immediately gave me ideas. I could use some extra materials, but would it be worth the risk of going to unknown grounds.

I didn't have much to do here, so I might as well just go. Worst that can happen is someone seeing me, but if someone does I'll just flee back into the portal.

I grab some equipment like an iron sword, a backpack, some tools and some other stuff I might need.

I was completely ready for my trip, only thing left now was to jump into the portal.

Tubbo told me it would probably make me sick if I went in for the first time, but I wasn't expecting it to be this bad.

After I almost threw up against the portal I looked around. What is this place?

There was some kind of red fire stone surrounding me and it has gotten really hot all of a sudden. There's also a couple of angry mutant pigs looking at me holding...

Crossbows?!

"I am so not fûcking with those." I mumble and start running over some path that I just guessed would be the one leading to Tubbo's so called town.

After a great journey with monsters that could kill me in a heartbeat, I finally made it to another portal floating above a lava pool.

"You really think he would do something like that at the festival?" A high pitched voice of a woman asks, scaring me. I quickly hide behind a wall and slowly look around it to see a woman talking to a taller boy that looked around the same age as Tubbo.

"I know he will. You need to get out of there, he's gone mad." The boy speaks. "He's not the same anymore and I'm not sure he'll ever be again."

"Maybe I can change his mind." The woman suggests.

"I wish it was that easy, Niki, I really wish it was that easy. But it's not, he's already gone. There's no saving him anymore."

And just like that they're gone again, they've jumped into the portal and left me confused.

Who are these people?

Is something about to go down?

At least I know one thing...

I have to find Tubbo.
