JAMES' P.O.V.
I wake up in a hospital bed.
The steady beat of the heart monitor helps me calm down a little.
I look around the room, but I don't see anyone, I don't even see Hope.
I press the call button on the side of the bed, and not even a minute later, a nurse arrives.
"Oh good, you're awake Mr. Johnson.", the nurse says.
"What happened?", I ask.
The nurse walks over to me.
"You were electrocuted by a Luxray. Mr. Goodman was able to get you to a hospital in time. You were on the brick of death. We were barley able to bring you back.", the nurse explains.
"Is there anyone waiting for me?", I ask her.
"Yes, there are a few people who were waiting for you to wake up. Would you like me to go get them?", she asks.
"Yes please.", I say.
The nurse nods, then leaves the room.
I lay my head back down on the pillow, and sigh.
I have so many questions that I want answers to.
Like: How did Samantha figure out I was living in Ryme City?
Who gave her the orders to come find me?
I have questions, but no solid answers, and that frustrates me.
The door opens, and in walks Tim, Lucy, Harry, Pikachu, Psyduck, Mew, and Hope.
I smile at all of them.
"How're you feeling kid?", Harry asks me.
"I feel like crap, but I'll be okay.", I say.
"Who was that lady James?", Tim asks.
"That lady was Samantha Thompson. She and I have a bad history with each other.", I say.
"What happened?", Lucy asks.
"She tried to kill Hope with a Flareon when Hope was just an Eevee. I was able to get Hope out of there. Ever since then, we've hated each other.", I explain.
"Jesus, what an asshole.", Lucy says.
Tim and Harry look at Lucy.
"What?! That's what this Sam chick sounds like.", Lucy says.
"You're not wrong Lucy. Sam really is an asshole.", I say.
Hope hops up on the bed.
"Are you okay my love?", Hope asks me.
I smile at her.
"I'm fine Hope, don't worry.", I say.
Hope walks up to me, and licks my face.
"I do worry about you.", Hope says.
I pet her.
"I know you do Hope, I know you do.", I say.
Hope lays down between my right arm, and my right side.
I continue to pet her.
"Well, we just wanted to make sure you were okay James. We'll let you rest up now.", Harry says.
I nod.
Harry, Tim, Lucy, Pikachu, and Psyduck leave the room.
Pikachu stops, and turns around towards me.
"Get well soon kid!", Pikachu says.
He turns back around, and hurries after everyone else.
"I'm glad you're okay Master James.", Mew says.
"Me too Mew, me too.", I say.
Mew lays down between my left arm, and my left side.
I listen to the beat of the heart monitor again, and soon fall asleep.
