JAMES' P.O.V.
I open the door to Professor Oak's laboratory.
I walk in, and take a moment to look at all of the Pokeballs along the shelves.
'This is incredible! Professor Oak has so many Pokeballs!', I think.
"Oh, hello there James.", I hear someone say.
I look to my left, and see Professor Oak walking up to me.
"Hey Professor. How're you doing?", I ask.
He smiles.
"I'm doing good. You?", Professor Oak says.
"I'm about to do a whole lot better once I get my Partner Pokemon!", I say, giddy with excitement.
Professor Oak laughs.
"I'll bet. You wanted an Eevee, correct?", Professor Oak asks.
"Yes sir!", I say.
Professor Oak walks over to a table with two Pokeballs on it.
"I've been saving her just for you.", Professor Oak says.
He hands me a Pokeball.
I immediately press the button on the Pokeball, and an Eevee comes out.
I gasp in joy.
EEVEE'S P.O.V.
I look around for a moment, taking in my surroundings.
I look up, and see a boy looking at me with joy in his emerald green eyes, and an old man.
"Hello.", I say nervously.
The boy crouches down, and holds his left hand out towards me.
I take a cautious step towards him, and sniff his hand.
He slowly reaches his hand behind my ears.
I freeze, ready to bolt if I have to.
He gently starts to pet me.
The love I feel coming from him makes me relax.
I nudge my head against his hand, and start purring.
He lets out a sigh of relief, and he continues to pet me.
'I like this human.', I think.
"Take good care of her James.", the old man says.
"I will Professor.", the human named James says.
He looks at me.
"Mind if I pick you up?", he asks me.
"I guess not.", I say.
He carefully reaches his right hand under me, and he picks me up.
I look into his emerald green eyes again.
I give his chin a small lick.
He snuggles me to his chest.
I purr again.
"How's the name Hope sound Eevee?", he asks me.
I purr again.
"I love it.", I say.
"Hope it is.", he says.
