~A Few Hours Later~

BEN was rocking back and forth outside the medical bay door. Jeff was next to him, patting his back, trying to comfort him. But nothing worked. The door opened, and there was Jack. BEN rocketed up, eyes full of tears and worry.

"Is he okay? Please, please, please. Tell me he's ok!" BEN grasped onto Jacks shoulders, speaking quickly.

Jack adverted his head. "BEN, he's...he didn't-" Tears filled his eye sockets.

"No. No. No! NO! NONONONONO!" BEN crumpled, falling to the hardwood flooring with a loud thwump. He was sobbing heavily. "Please...let me...let me see him?"

Jack shuffled out of the way, silently crying. BEN walked in and there was Kai, deader than he had been before, lying on the table. The knife had been removed and he was stitched up.

"K-Kai..?"

Instead of the slight colour that used to tint his skin, it was completely white. His eyes stared the glassy stare of the dead, forever blind and unseeing. His body was stiff and cold.

"No...No...Kai...NO! I LOVE YOU, PLEASE COME BACK!" BEN fell to his knees, shaking with the violent tears. "No...please...no...this is just nightmare!"

Jeff came over and pulled BEN into a hug. He was crying too. It was like losing a parent, but this time it was so, so bad. "Shh, it's okay. It's okay. He's...he's...he's in a better place now, huh?"

"Kai...no..." BEN whispered, crying a waterfall. "NO! KAI!"

People had came downstairs to find the three men crying and the body. Toby sobbed into Jacks arms and vice versa, Masky into Hoodies arms and vice versa, and Sally was pulled in with Toby and Jack.

That night was the darkest night to befall upon the mansion.

BEN was never in his room. It was hollow without his husband there. The empty side of the bed, the abandoned cheesecake in the fridge, the T-Shirts for rock bands, the drawings, the pictures of them together, the unfinished drawings that signifies their unfinished lifetime together. But worse of all, those rings.

The rings that sat there, day and night, taunting him about how he had something missing. That he would never see his precious face again. How he would never be kissed by him again. How he would never be told how cute he was by him again. How he would never hear that accent and slang from him again.

Pastas comforted BEN, but couldn't do much. Most of the time he sat on the couch, crying quietly, watching TV. He needed to drink a ton of water because of how much he cried, he was so dehydrated. Sometimes he cried into Jeff's arms.

Three days later, he was watching the news because, well, nothing else was on. He was still silently crying, not wanting to make noise. The woman was introduced and said good evening before getting to the story. A story that made BEN's eyes widen.

"A man," warbled the tv, "was found dead in his house this morning. Experts have confirmed that he died three days ago. The man was beaten to death and his face was too disfigured to make out, but experts confirmed the man as Boris Jones. The killer left no traces, and is still at large. If you saw anything suspicious please call..."

BEN fell to the floor, eyes wide and mouth agape. "Who fucking cares if HE DIED!?" BEN yelled at the screen, tears streaming faster from his eyes.
