BEN found himself rocking back and forth on the ground with Jeff's arms around him. They sat for a few hours. BEN had drowned (haha I'm not funny) the background noise out with music until he felt the rush of air of a door opening. He stood up, turning off the music and yanking the Pokémon headphones off.

"Is he okay?!" said BEN, gripping Jacks shoulders.

"Hey, calm down. Yeah, he's doing fine. He's still out, though, but he'll wake up soon enough." Jack smiled and BEN hugged him tightly.

"Thankyouthankyouthankyou!" He babbled out, hugging him so tight Jack winced and muttered an 'ow'. BEN pulled away. "Sorry..."

"It's okay. I'll be upstairs, if there's any problems, just get me." Jack walked upstairs, feet dragging in exhaustion. 

BEN ran into the bed to see Kai lying there. He sat on a seat next to the bed and held his hand, the rhythmic beeping of the machine comforting him.

For the next few hours, BEN sat there, watching him, just making sure nothing happened to him. Jeff walked in, seeing him there, just like he'd been for the last three hours.

"BEN, cmon, go to bed...he'll be okay!" Jeff sighed, putting his hand on his shoulder. BEN turned his head stiffly and shook it.

"No...I wanna be here when he wakes up..." BEN muttered. He yawned and sighed. "Can you get me a monster?"

"Fine, but don't drink it too fast." Jeff walked away and came back with two. BEN thanked him and drank it, trying not to chug it. Jeff pat his back before walking away.

In a wavering voice, BEN began to sing to Kai.

"Hush little Kai, don't say a word,

BEN's gonna catch you a mockingbird.

And if that mockingbird won't sing,

Jeff's gonna cut someone's diamond ring.

And if that diamond ring turns to brass,

Slendy's gonna hand you a looking glass." 

"Heh...BEN..." 

BEN picked his head up from the bed and looked at Kai. His eyes were open and he tried to sit up, groaning in pain.

"No, don't get up." BEN pushed him back down and squeezed his hand. "Heh, you...you woke up..."

"D-duh, Glitch. Did you think I'd leave ya?" Kai smiled, and BEN laid down on the bed next to him, head on his arm. Kai pet his head and BEN fell asleep.

Jack walked in and paused. "Hey, you're awake!"

"Duh." Kai flipped him off. "Thanks..."

"That's a weird way to say thanks." Jack looked at BEN. "He's been here the whole time, you know. He must be tired."

"He fell asleep instantly." He smiled.

"Your chest'll be fine, just sore." Jack walked away, leaving them both.

~time skippppp~

Kai crossed his arms. "We can't!"

"Pleeeaaasseeee!" BEN pleaded. Kai sighed. They were murderers, on a mission and they were stopped in the woods. "Please, Kai, come on! We need to keep...him, we can't just leave him here!"

"What could we even feed it?!" Kai was annoyed they ere even having this conversation.

"Tuna!" said BEN. "Oh, come on! Look how cute!" BEN held up the small, black kitten. "Don't you like cats?"

"I do, but there's no point! He'll die, and we'll be left sad." BEN knew he had a point.

"But I'll die and you'll be left sad." BEN retorted, and Kai raises an eyebrow.

"You sure you won't just respawn at the last checkpoint?" He joked and BEN stuck his tongue out.

"Pleasssseee!?" BEN pouted and Kai caved.

"Fine, but I get to name him." He said and BEN nodded excitedly. Kai pondered and paused. "What about...BowWow!"

"Hah! BowWow is a good name for him." BEN laughed. Kai took BowWow from BEN's hands and holding him like a baby, his head over his shoulder. BEN giggled. "What are you doing?"

"I used to have dogs, this is how you carry them!" Kai laughed at his confused expression.

"You had dogs?"

"Yeah, Jig and Pig. Frenchies." Kai pat the cats back.

"What a weirdo." BEN muttered, and Kai glared. They walked back to the mansion and threw the door open. 

"What...is that..?" Jeff asked from the couch.

"A cat, dumbass." Kai sat next to him and put the cat on his knees, petting him. BowWow purred. "His name is BowWow, BEN made us take him."

"Hey, he'd have died!" BEN sat next to Kai, head on his shoulder and petting BowWow. 

"BowWow is a dumb name." said Jeff bluntly, getting glares from the couple. 

"Fuck off, smiles." Kai flipped him off and picked up the cat, smiling at his face. It meowed. 

"Ooh! Kitty cat!" Sally jumped up on the couch. "Can I pet it? What's it's name?!"

"He's called BowWow, and be careful! He'll scratch you if you annoy him." BEN passed her him, making sure he was careful. Sally pet him and giggled.

Everybody met the newest member of the household and loved him. Kai and BEN treated BowWow like their child, and everybody saw it like that. BowWow turned out to be a Maine Coon, meaning he was massive. Bigger than Sally and BEN.

~Three Years Later~

Kai and BEN had been married for three years. The best three years of their lives. BowWow was with them in their marriage, too, like a big kid who sat on counters.

"Kaiii! Help!" yelled BEN from the dying room. Kai sighed and walked in to find his hasband being crushed by the cat. He laughed his arse off at the big, midnight-coloured blob sitting down, a tuft of blonde hair sticking up from behind it. Kai pulled his phone out and took some photos. "Stop talking pictures and help me!"

"Fine, fine, shut it or your mouth'll get full of fur." Kai picked up the cat, putting the arms and head over his shoulder. "BowWow, stop killing BEN." BowWow just meowed.

"What a bitch." BEN groaned, his legs numb.

"You're the one who wanted to keep him, Glitch, don't blame me!" Kai put BowWow next to him and sat BEN on his knee, kissing his cheek. "I love you, forever and always.

"I love you too...

Forever and always..."
