chapter 11 - you throw like a girl

you're sat in the library reading one of the many books hermione had lectured you about reading.

d - do you ever leave this library?

draco smirks and sits down opposite you.

y - i dont think so

he laughs and looks at the books around him before getting up again and going into a different section. you watch him out of the corner of your eye, hes standing over a book and squinting slightly to see the cover and smiling, you cant help but think to yourself about how cute he looked. he smirks and walks back over throwing the book to you

d - here

you roll your eyes in an effort to not give away what you were just thinking and pick up the book looking it over. when you see the title you giggle and look up at him

y - is this a guide to take care of insane creatures?

d - well you need to take care of yourself you might aswell learn how to now

y - oh... OH YOU DIDNT

you throw the book at him and he laughs

"SHHHH!" the librarian yells.

you notice the force of the book had knocked draco to the floor.

d - for goodness sake y/n you throw like a girl

you look him in the eyes

y - well you see draco thats because i AM a girl

d - are you?

you roll your eyes

y - last time i checked, yes

you pick up your books and shove them into your bag.

d - where are you going?

y - dinner?

you turn to leave but hesitate for a second turning back to draco

y - do you need to walk next to me with a pistol or something?

he gets up and slaps your arm with the book before the two of you leave the library together laughing
