I had trouble breathing. I knew what it was before I woke up. I was having a panic attack. I needed my medication to help with it, but you know, kidnapped and all.
I tried to soothe myself with the thought of Hamish, Lilith and Randall all safe and unharmed. I was moving around in my seat, testing out the ropes again.
Still there. Still tightly wound.
I opened my eyes and lifted my head to the same bright light, but this time to see someone standing there on the phone.
"She's awake." They said. A pause, then a beep of a phone.
The person turned around and I saw it was Jay. I tried to form words, but I found my mouth duct taped again.
Jay gave me a 'I'm so sorry' look. If he was sorry then why is he doing this, I thought to myself as I tried to twist out of my restraints, panicking again. Jay looked like he was gonna say something, but the door banged harshly open, and in came Trevor.
"Why didn't you give her another dose?" He asked Jay. Jay was stuttering for words, but didn't say anything fast enough before Trevor gave an aggressive sigh. "Move, you idiot, I'll do it,"
Jay gave an angry face, his eyes flashing a silver-gold color for a brief second. Wait- I thought, but thought I lost my mind. He couldn't be a werewolf. Could he...?
I didn't have time to have a staff meeting with myself because Trevor was walking over with a syringe. He ripped off the tape sharply.
"Are you gonna tell me what I want to hear now? Or do I have to break a bone or two?" He said, looming over me. I looked at him difiantly. "I'll take that as a 'yes'," Trevor said, standing up and examining me. "Alright," he said. Clapping his hands together and turning to Jay. "Get the table,"
I looked wide-eyed at Trevor as Jay scurried off to get what was requested. "What are you gonna do to me?" I asked.
Trevor glanced over at me. "Oh, just gonna do a little separation." He said. "It hurts worse than it sounds," He reassured, winking at me. "But first, I want to know things," He said, turning to me.
"Like?" I asked.
"Like how did you come across this specimen." He said. I gave a glare, but said. "It chose me,"
Trevor looked at me funny. "What? Like in Pokémon?" He joked. I shrugged. "Sorry, I wouldn't know, not a huge fan," I lied. Of course I was a huge fan of Pokémon. Who wouldn't love those cute little made up creatures?
Trevor rolled his eyes dramatically. "So not the point right now," He said, "If we were in different circumstances, I'd force you to sit and watch them, but unfortunately for you, these aren't those circumstances," He said. "Now, tell me, how many of you are there?"
I didn't speak. If I spoke, I'd say something nasty I'd regret. Trevor clicked his tongue, sighing. All in one swift motion, he punched me in the gut, and walked behind me. "This is getting really old, Mazikeen," Trevor said. "It's sad to say, but killing you is the best option after the extraction," He whispered in my ear.
I shuddered away, growling. Maybe if I hold out long enough, this stupid shit will wear off... I thought. I then said, "I have to go to the bathroom,"
Trevor sighed, walking in front of me again. "Well, you should've thought of that before," He said. I gave him a mean look. "Oh, sorry, didn't factor in that I was gonna get fucking kidnapped,"
Rolling his eyes, he untied my feet, then my hands. He then retied my hands in front of me, giving enough slack just to pull them maybe a rulers length apart.
Trevor promptly started to walk me to a port-a-potty. Closing the door awkwardly, the rope going underneath the door making it hard to shut and lock it, I stood there, willing myself to hurry the fuck up with getting the stupid drug from her system.
I felt Spitfire inside her, wanting to break free and rip Trevor's throat out. If I wasn't on this drug, I don't think I would have the control that I had, so, that was kind of a plus.
I need to calm down! I told myself sharply. Spitfire after that calmed a little bit, not much, but just enough for if the drugs do wear off, I can control her. A knock sounded at the door.
"What the fuck are you doing in there?" Trevor said impatiently.
"Sorry! I had to take a shit," I lied. Pretending to pull up my pants. I stood there a moment longer, seeing if I could induce Spitfires' claws. I was weak at it, but the rewarding feeling of this pain on my hands told me that I could. I took back the claws, and unlocked the door, amazed at how fast the injury on my nails began to heal. I clenched my hands in fists so Trevor wouldn't be able to see until we got to the chair again.
But, this time, we weren't going to the chair. Trevor led me to a massage table. "What are you gonna do, give me a massage?" I asked.
"In a way," Trevor said darkly as he manhandled me onto the table, strapping my face first onto it. After untying my hands, he latched them on either side of me, and latched my legs in place as well so I couldn't move.
Trevor called Jay over. I heard Jay walk over and hand him something, but I didn't know what. He took whatever it was and cut the back of my shirt and bra, to where my back was exposed. I gave a shiver as the cold kissed my back.
I just realized what he was doing. I thrashed against my restraints, this time with a little more power, but to no avail. Trevor must have seen this coming, because he injected me with something.
"Naughty, naughty," He said. I gave a frustrated sigh as I laid there, useless.
Then the pain started. I felt it on my upper back as Trever cut into me. I screamed and howled in pain. No no no NO! I said in my head. He's gonna separate Spitfire and me!
I thrashed once more, but it was useless. Trevor already had cut deep enough to get the bloody hide in his hands. That's when the real pain began. I arched my back out of pure pain as he delicately pulled it out, trying to get away as I screamed.
I screamed until I saw stars dancing in my vision.
I screamed until the pain was so great, I couldn't feel it.
I screamed until I couldn't no more.
I felt the fur rip out of me like a dislocation to the knee. My back was like liquid fire, slowly burning at me. I was blacking out from the pain.
The last thing I heard was the door banging open, and voices bouncing around the room like everyone was talking at once.
