Rose Garcia...Is she really the main one who thinks I am alive? I can't believe it...Dammit...I clench my fist as I stare at my laptop. It's not that I hate her...It's just she really is the one I don't want to see. Sighing, I read more on the files. Hmm? Grace? She thinks I am alive? Lowkey not surprise. A soft knock is heard from the outside of my office. "Come in?" I stare at my laptop as I hear my door open. "You really need to eat..Here is some food." Tony sets a plate of food down beside me. I look down at the plate to see salsa and chips. "Thank you..." I mumble as I look back to the file. "Hmmm...Jessi?!? Really?" Tony glares at the file. "Sadly, really..." I look up at my brother. "Oh by the way...Cole will be here soon." I shift in my seat, where my knees are to my chest. "Go change!" Tony yells at me as he throws my hoodie at me. "What why?" He glares at me as he starts to walk to the door. "Because you are wearing shorts and a crop top! If he's coming for business you should look like it's for business!" He leaves the room and walks down stairs. "I'M STAYING IN THESE CLOTHES!!! YOU CAN'T FORCE ME!!!" I yell as I stand up. Cole leans against the doorway. "You and your brother seem to fight a lot?" I roll my eyes "No, he's just protective..." I motion for him to sit down. "Do you want me to close the door?" He asks before he walks to the desk. I nod and sit back down. Cole closes the door and walks over to me. "I see you've been doing more research." He smiles at me. I nod and scroll back to the first name. "Let's just say a lot of these people I don't like. Let's start from the first name...Shall we?" Cole smiles at me as we start to read off info on every person in the file. Soon came the last person. "Jessi Parker..." Cole reads out loud. I look at his picture with dull eyes. "You don't like to talk about him, do you?" I shake my head no as I read his info. "Let's deal with him first...It seems like he's in town for the week. I think some of my buddy's have done business with him recently." Cole starts to grab his phone as he looks at me. Before he texts his friend he places a hand on my shoulder. "It'll be liking ripping off a band aid." He smiles at me and soon looks down at his phone. "They have a meeting soon...Why don't we show up." I smile and nod. "Ill go get change, since you already look like you mean business." I get up and head for my room. I stop at the door way. "You can sit in the living room or you can stay in here to get more info..." I give Cole a smirk and walk off. Entering my room, I immediately start to get ready. After getting ready, I head to my office. Cole and my brother were in there talking. "Hey..." I knock as I walk in. Coles eyes widen. My hair was down and was slightly wavy. I was wearing a black button up shirt and some black jeans. With of course combat boots. "I'm ready if you are." I walk over to the two. Tony just sighs. "Crystal do you even have a weapon on you?" I smile as I pull one of the knives in my boot out. "I also have my gun hidden." Cole's eyes widen even more. "Cole are you ready to go? We don't want to be late, now do we?" I smirk as I walk away. I hear Cole run over to be. "Yes m'lady!" He smiles as he walks ahead of me. This is going to be a long mission.
We walk into the dark meeting room of a old hotel. "Cole, it's so good to see you!!" Coles friend hugs him as I stand there looking around the room. "And this wonderful looking lady?" I smile and hold my hand out. "Crystal, Crystal Baker." He shakes my hand and smirks. "I'm Josh." I take my hand back. "I'm just here for Jessi. Is he here?" I ask as I start to talk darkly. Josh points to the door. "In there...He owes us so you can do whatever you want with him." I nod and walk over to the door. Cole opens it for me. I nod and enter the room. Jessi was tied to a chair in front of a desk. "Hello Jessi..." I smirk as I sit down across from him. "Well hello there pretty lady..." He winks at me. I roll my eyes and open the case file of the old me. "Do you know this girl?" I ask as I slide it over to him. "Ella...We dated years ago...Is she alive?!" His eyes show emotions that I hated. "We aren't sure yet, but have you tried to find her?" Cole stares at me from the door. "Why?" Jessi looks at me confused. "If you tell us what you have found out on her. In return we will act like you didn't owe us." A smile crept onto my face. Jessi smirks as he looks up to me. "All I know is that she is a Baker now. That she works with the mafia." My eyes grow dark as I sit still. "Like you will find her before me. I mean I already have found her." Mine and Coles eyes widen. "You aren't sneaky Crystal or shall I say Ella." I slams my hands on the table as I stand up. "Never call me by that name!!" I yell as I glare at him. "Why not baby? I mean you are talking to me. Your ex!" He chuckles as he smirks. "I was trying to find you so I could kill you myself. After all you are just a piece of trash, a nobody!" I walk over to him and pull my gun out. "You are the nobody!" I yell as I put the gun to his head. Cole looks at me and stares at Jessi. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you..." I glare at him. "You wouldn't want to kill me in-front of your boyfriend now would you?" I scoff as I start to pull the trigger. "He isn't my boyfriend." Once the gun goes off, I walk away. "Let's go..." I mumble as I walk away. Thankfully no blood was on me. "Here is his bank stuff." I hand it to Josh as I walk away. "Did she kill him...?" Josh whispers to Cole. Cole nods and walks after me. "You didn't have to kill him..." I stop dead in my tracks. "Yes, I had no choice. Do not talk about this to my brother." I walk towards the car.
Days past after that meeting, I was more silent and didn't really go to meetings. Dad was worried, but didn't ask anything. Today Cole was coming over to talk about the other people who think I am alive... I understand his father is wanting to protect me, but really? It's getting to the point I'm ready to just go hide again. We have two months to make the people think I'm alive to make sure I am dead. The ball is in three months as well. Though it's me favorite time, I am not ready. This years theme is gold and black masquerade ball. It seems odd to have a ball in 2026, but it's what my father enjoys. Whatever makes him happy, makes me happy. "Lady Crystal, your father wishes to see you..." One of the maids was in the doorway of my office. I mumble a thank you as I stand up from my desk. I walk over to my Fathers office. "Yes, Father?" I ask as I walk over to him. "Is Cole coming by tomorrow?" He looks at me then to the pool table. I nod and watch him play. "Tell him to come to my office after talking to you. I have some business to talk with him." He sets the pool stick down. "Yes sir..." I nod and start my way out of the room. The maids and butlers smile at as I walk down the hall. As much as It is weird to see them as possibly family. As far as I know they could tell our secretes. Now that I think about it...I have yet to see Alex recently. I walk over to my brothers room. I knock softly as I speak. "Tony? May I come in?" I hear him walk over to the door. He slightly opens the door and smiles. "Yes my lovely sister..." I roll my eyes at him. "Alex? Where is she?" I ask as I try to see in his room. "In the graveyard..." He smiles innocently. "Thank god!" I smile at him and just walk away. "Wait you aren't concern why she is dead?" He looks at me with concern. "She dissevered it." I smile and walk to my room. He thankfully figured out why she was a pain...As much as I love my brother, but Alex was telling secrets on our family. Entering my room, I head to the small desk in my bay window. It may be getting late in the night, but I need more information on Jessi...I search his name up to see a missing person article. They really think they will find him...that's really funny. It seems as his new toy is the one who filled it. I am not surprised. I mean everyone knows when someone goes missing. It's not that hard to figure it out. Hmm...I did tell Josh where to hide the body. I would give them a tip, but those cops would try to find me. Wait...I stare at the people who have tried to help them. Mom...? I stare at her name... Of course she would! She liked him after all... She didn't even care that her daughter was being hurt. Not like dad cared. Him and mom were so happy to find out he cheated on me with my own sister. No wonder I can't stand seeing their faces. God...I wish I had been born into this family. Maybe I would have lived a happier life. Who knows? Tony did tell me one day that he wish I was his real sister. Over how long it took us to get along that makes me happy. He really is like a real brother to me. I smile as I look up in the body mirror across my room. It took a lot to get to where I am now. I wouldn't change this decision I made years ago. I am happy in the Baker family. I am happy to be in a gang. I am even happy that people are some times scared of me. I get up from my desk and walk to my bed. Tomorrow I will be busy with this job. I should get some sleep. If Tony was in here, he would be throwing stuff at me. I'm glad I joined this family. I lay down and soon fall asleep with a small smile on my face.
