I have a problem.

I'm addicted to fictional characters.

His soft lips felt like they were meant for me. Damn- he tasted like it was meant for me.

This can't be happening- this shouldn't be happening.

We pulled back after a few seconds and I couldn't contain the blush that was creeping on my face.

"Miles," he started but I shook my head. I had to be the mature one out of the both of us.

"We can't Freddie," I sighed and walked away with a billion thoughts in my mind. I felt like I was going to explode with the infinite emotions I'm going through.

I'm pissed.

I'm hurt.

I'm jealous.

I'm insecure.

I'm full of regret.

I'm literally everything but happy.

Why can't I just be happy?

Is that so much to ask for?

I don't realize where I'm going and before I know it- I crashed into someone.

One of the last people I wanted to see right now.

Adrian fucking Pucey.

"What d'you want?" I asked in a foul mood at the sight of him.

"Woah- why are you so pissed?" he asked and raised his hands up to show no harm.

"Can't I just be in a mood alone?" I spat at him and turned around. I chose to head to the library- one of my favorite places to go to when I need to sort my feelings out.

I heard footsteps follow me but I tried to ignore them.

Madam Pince was on her break but we're still allowed in the library. Since dinner's about to start, the library is empty- thank Merlin, I needed my alone time right now.

I felt terrible for walking away from Fred but I just needed to be alone right now.

"Granger- I know you're in here," Adrian's voice says and I froze.

It was him who had followed me in here.

I took a deep breath & stayed hidden in the Magical Creatures section, praying he wouldn't find me & just took the hint and left.

"There you are," he said.

Fuck.

"What," I sulked, not even trying to be friendly.

"I didn't come here to deal with your attitude," he rolled his eyes.

Likewise.

I walked away from him and determined to roam around in the Restricted Section.

"Quit it," I scoffed.

"Quit what?"

"Following me," I snarled at him and angrily shoved the nearest book I could get my hands on in his arms.

He put it back where I got it from.

Merlin- I give up.

I slumped down, using the bookshelf as a backrest. Adrian slowly sat across from me- also using that bookshelf as a backrest.
