After Hinata ended his relationship with Oikawa, Oikawa left the hospital. He had tried not to cry in front of HInata, but ended up breaking just as he exited the hospital room. Yurio was seated outside, leaning against the wall. Yurio saw Oikawa's tears, and got concerned.

"Oikawa are you alright?" Oikawa tried his best to smile and wave Yurio off,

"I'm fine." Yurio had heard that too many times, Oikawa definitely wasn't fine.

"No, you aren't. What happened?" Oikawa let out a sob and opened up to Yurio.

"Shoyo broke up with me." Yurio seemed surprised by this. "He said he wanted to focus on his mental health, and he was afraid that as long as we were together he wouldn't be able to love himself. Which i understand, but..." Oikawa was then quiet for a bit. Yurio understood the situation now. He was happy that Hinata wanted to focus on his mental health, but he felt bad for Oikawa. "I'm just happy he's staying at Aoba Johsai, I'm happy we can still be friends." Oikawa was smiling through the tears now.

Yurio felt awful for Oikawa, but at the same time he was glad that Hinata had made this choice.

"Oikawa i think you should take this time to focus on yourself as well." Oikawa nodded, and then walked away. He was sad about this, for obvious reasons, and when he reached his home, Akari noticed immediately that something was up with her little bro.

"Hey Tooru, what's wrong?"

"Shoyo broke up with me." Akari couldn;t say she was upset about this, she thought that Hinata and Oikawa's relationship was bound to fail and destroy both of the teenagers, which she didn;t want for either of them, but in the moment, it was more important to comfort her brother than pointing this out.

"Hey, Tooru, you'll be alright." She hugged her little brother and he melted into her arms. He really did need this right now. "How about we get some ice cream and watch a movie, yeah?" Oikawa sniffled and nodded, he moved to the couch where Akari brought him a few blankets and a tub of ice cream. She set up a movie and snuggled next to her brother. He fell asleep almost instantly, but that didn't matter to Akari, she was just glad that her brother was finally out of that relationship.

The next day, Hinata was cleared to leave the hospital and free to play sports. It was the day of the partner skating with Yurio, he was out just in time. For the entire morning, he and Yurio practiced their routine over and over. They had gotten it down perfectly, and they were sure that they could win.

Their only real competitors were Victor and Yuri, but other than that they pretty much were guaranteed victory. This was Hinata's first time competing in a grand prix though, and he was very nervous.

Finally, it was time for the competition. The volleyball team had no games the second day, so they came to watch Hinata and Yurio compete. Oikawa told all of them that he and HInata broke up, but that it wouldn't affect the team.

The team was somewhat sad that their OTP was breaking up, but they all figured that it would be better for the two and that they had their own reasons.

The team watched as a few pairs skated, then came up Victor and Yuri. The two pros performed a beautiful duet and landed all but one of their jumps perfectly. Finally it was time for Yurio and Hinata.

The team watched in anticipation as the two small teens began their skating to the song History Makers.

They were amazed by the gracefulness of the two skaters. Everyone in the rink was captivated by their performance, nobody could look away, The two teens did a few jumps and a step sequence together. At last the boys finished their routine, and everyone in the rink was snapped out of their trance. They were surrounded by deafening cheers, and waited patiently for their score.
