Hinata and Oikawa held hands as they walked through the cemetery. It had been exactly eleven years since the death of Hajime Iwaizumi. The married couple found their lost lover's grave and crouched down in front of it.
Oikawa pulled something out of his coat pocket. A small golden ring with the words You will forever be my always engraved on the inside. He smiled as he laid the ring down on the grave.
"Hajime, i never had the chance to tell you just how much i love you. You will always hold a special place in my heart, the words i couldn't say back then, when you had first left us, they're gone now. Those were the words of a grieving teenager. If you were here today, I think you would have laughed at the way things turned out" Oikawa let out a small laugh and then he sniffled as tears fell. "I miss you so much Hajime."
Hinata rubbed his husband's back in a comforting way, and then he spoke.
"Hajime, i may not have known you for as long as Tooru did, but the time i spent with you was the best time of life. You showed me what real happiness felt like, you helped me in ways I didn't know I needed help in. It's dumb to say that i wish you were still here, you can;t undo the past, but i really really od miss you, more than anything. I love you Hajime Iwaizumi." Hinata laid a bouquet of flowers down alongside the ring.
Hinata and Oikawa stood. Hand in hand, they walked away.
They left their past behind, and made their way towards the future, towards happiness.
