Chapter 17

(3 years later, Hinata is still in Brazil)

Hinata swooped down and received the ball with ease, sending it to his partner, who then set the ball back to him. Hinata jumped up and slammed the ball down on the other side, but it was received and sent back over. This time his partner received, and it was up to him to set it.

He set the ball to his partner, and his partner scored, winning the game for them. With this, Hinata and his partner advanced in the tournament.

"Great spike Heitor!"

"Nah it was all thanks to that amazing set Shoyo!" The partners high fived and then thanked their opponents. That was the day's last game, they would continue tomorrow. Hinata went back to his apartment. He opened the door and walked in.

"Hey Pedro!" His roommate was seated on the couch.

"Hey Shoyo, did you win?"

"Yep! You should come watch our games tomorrow!"

"Maybe."

"I'm gonna shower and call my family for a bit, but then we can continue our One Piece Marathon, okay?"

"Sure." Hinata then proceeded to take a shower and change, then he pulled out his phone and dialled Yurio's number.

"Hey Yurio!"

"Hey Shoyo! Victor, Yuri, Shoyo's on the phone!" Hinata laughed as he heard his dads rush over to the phone and say hello.

"Hey guys! Yurio, how's dance?"

"It's going pretty good actually, and guess what."

"What?"

"Otabek proposed to me!"

"YURIO THAT'S AMAZING!" Hinata was extremely happy for his friend. Yurio laughed a bit. The family continued talking for a while, and finally when they were done, Hinata walked back to the living room and sat down beside Pedro.

"Ayo Shoyo, what episode were we on?"

"880, i think." Pedro nodded and turned on the tv, finding their episode and pressing play. The two boys watched for the rest of the night, and eventually Hinata went to bed, leaving Pedro on the couch.

The next morning Hinata woke up nice and early to play the rest of the tournament. When he got to the beach, he waited for Heitor to show up, and then they started to warm up. Once they were ready to play, the game began.

The pair won the first game of the day, and were on to the finals. RIght before the game began, Heitor pulled Hinata to the side and whispered to him,

"When we win, i'm gonna propose to Nice." Hinata smiled widely. Nice and Heitor had been dating for a few years, and Hinata knew that they were a perfect pair.

The game began, and they won the first set, but then their opponents took back the second set. In the third set, it was a pretty even game, but in the end, Hinata and Heitor were defeated. Hinata smiled despite the loss, he really did love playing, no matter the score. Heitor however, was not looking too bright. He was quite sad, because the loss and screwed up his plans to propose. Hinata walked over to Heitor and tapped his shoulder.

"Hey, Heitor, go talk to Nice." Heitor stood up and walked over to Nice, in the same moment, A familiar face noticed Hinata.

Oikawa's face dropped when he saw Hinata. Despite it being five years since he last saw him, his heart still hurt. Oikawa knew deep down that he still loved the orange haired boy. He was about to walk over and start a conversation, but then he noticed something big happening, and stepped back.
