One's Own Freedom [Genshin Impact]

Info!

Hi there! I'm Kate, the author who's writing this fan fiction. I've been captured by the beauty of this game, and it i've been entranced by the story so I wanted to write a ff based on the game with an oc I made! I'm quite proud of the plot, though some scenes may be altered and changed, and added on, (mainly because it's an open world and with the quests and such...). I had to get a little creative with coming up with some scenes, and I'm quite impressed with what I have so far. But here's some basic information about my character and the story!

Also disclaimer: Some information I adjusted and created are how I see some characters and how they act, as well as they exact age. This is just how I portray them in the story!

Appearance

Rai's appearance mostly resemble features of a dragon, this is because her power within acts like one. Rai has long dark lavender hair, extending to her waist-line. It is tied in a loose ponytail, that resembles a dragons tail. Her eyes are bloodshot red, and also similar to a dragon. Unlocking her hidden ability, Rai has large dragon-like wings that appear on her backside when necessary.

Weapons

Rai has a long sword that she uses for combat. She had found it when she was wandering in the castle dungeon, her name inscribed on the handle. The sword has a special connection to her existence, and when she figured that out, she quickly created great power from it. With every slash of her sword, electricity is emitted from the blade, creating more damage on her enemy. She can also do long ranged attacks with her sword with her electricity and lightening. Those powers only work while she has her weapon in hand.

Background (there will be more revealed later on)

Rai originally came from Inazuma, Teyvat. She came from a line of Electro bloodline that directly traced all the way back to the Electro Archon, The Immortal Shogun. It was said that the Immortal Shogun wanted Rai to be banished even before she was born, because Inazuma is a difficult place to get inside of, and out. They believed the environment for her would not be safe her well being, so they sent her off to the kingdom of Tafōt, far from Teyvat. When they sent her off, they immediately cleared her memory, leaving her to searching for clues on her own. However they had never erased her power, because they had thought she would never have developed one anyways. It was rare that members from the Electro Archon branch would receive abilities from the Immortal Shogun themself. Rai slowly starts to discover more of herself as she ventures onward with her friends she met in the kingdom, Lumine and Aether.
