Chapter 5- The fight

Numbani Museum (Y/N POV):

I was running from cover to cover trying to get in as many shots as I could because I was onto my last 2 cylinder chambers (magazine part of the revolver), the skull faced guy was beginning to get annoyed as a lot of his men were dying and I didn't seem to be stopping any time soon.

(Reaper): "Ho hahahaha ,Die ,die, die"

A black mist appeared around the skull guy as he began to laugh and once he started to repeat those words his gun fire basically sped up to the point that it was basically an automatic pistol. I frantically dived for cover so as to avoid the hail of bullets sent my way.

Was all I heared when the firing finished and I went to return the favour as I realised that I was now out of ammo as I had used the last of it up on the goons that had been swarming in, I then heard the footsteps of possibly ten men as they entered the room as well.

(Y/N): sigh "Time to be a monster"

I said to myself as I felt the usual sting when I brought my claws out.

I hated them, the ugly metal and it's jagged look however I couldn't deny their usefulness and effectiveness for what I needed them for, I still hate them and how I got them.

'But for the needed of the many the monsters must suffer so as to never forget'

I thought to myself as I got ready to charge I looked over and saw a support pillar somewhat damaged but still stand when the idea hit me.

I charged from my cover and tore through the support pillar completely breaking it before turning around and charging at the gasmask wearing goons, impaling one and slicing the other one in half. I proceeded forward and broke the pillar behind them, I felt the gun shots rip into my skin but due to my transformation it was as if they were throwing pebbles at me in my head I heard a voice say...

'And every where lamb went'

Muttering
(Y/N): "Wolf was sure to follow"

I proceeded to attack three more of the masked men goring one on my horns which had now appeared, whilst bitting Down on the second one neck and slashing at the third which drew a scream of pain but I didn't see what had happened to him. I proceeded to destroy the next two pillars in quick succession as well as killing another of the masked men in the process, by now there was only one pillar left alongside four of the masked men as well as the guy with the skull face, they were all firing in my general detection as I was currently taking cover behind the ruined pillar looking for the last one.

Eventually I saw but realised it was behind the masked man, I inwardly growled as I realised I'd have to take his gun straight on and was not looking forward to it. I finally gathered my self and let out an almighty roar before charging strait at the masked man to no surprises he easily doged turn into black smoke at the last second as I smashed through the pillar and fell to the ground as the wounds were beginning to get to me now. I heared him chuckling and taunting me saying.

(Reaper): "Did you really think that would work"

(Y/N): "Actually yes I did and for your information my plan did work"

The masked guy simply titled his head in confusion.

(Reaper): "Really? Well then care to say how hitting a stone pillar helps you win?"

He had an arrogant tone about him and seemed quite full that he was winning this fight, but before I could answer him we both heard the almighty crack and saw dust falling from the roof which made him look up and brought a smile to my face.

(Reaper): "What th-"

He quickly jumped to the side as chunks from the roof began to fall down, two of the masked men were not as lucky and got crushed instantly killing them a third had his leg pined and the rest were beginning to run away, but what caught my attention was a loud scream of fear and as I looked for the source horror filled my eyes as I saw the younger of the two boys from earlier cowering near one of he broken pillars and saw that the part o the roof above him was about to fall.

I immediately charged at the kid ignore the masked man's laugh as I saw him escape, but it didn't matter to me all I could think about was making sure the kid was safe. When the kid saw me he cried in fear as I covered him as the roof caved in on us.

(Kid 1): " Gaaah get away"

(Y/N): " Hey, aah hey it's alright right I'm not here to hurt you"

I say with a somewhat forced smile as I feel a sharp pain in my side as well as brick hitting my back.

(Kid 1): sniffle "Really?"

(Y/N): " Really, I promise"

As I say this I try to reassure him by trying to smile as the wounds pain is starting to seep into my nervous system.

(Kid 1): sniffle "Okay"

After about ten minutes past the rubble had stopped falling and I decided to try and get us out before we really got trapped.

(Y/N):"So, kid what's your name?"

(Kid 1): sniffle "Timmy" sniffle

(Y/N): "Well then Timmy how's about we get out here, sound good to you?"

(Timmy): "Okay but how Mr?"

(Y/N): "Just you watch and see"

I tell him giving him a reassuring smile. I then begin to strain and push all of the rocks off of us and I notice a rebar impaling me, I move to hide this from the kid as I push up and slowly move the rocks off us as I look back to see if he's ok,I see him beaming up at me in shock and aw, something I'm not used to seeing.

After about ten minutes the pair of us are out and I let the rubble fall back down.

Timmy's POV:

The big man I first thought was a monster actually saved me and got me out of the now collapsed museum, as I looked around I saw my brother looking scared.

(Timmy): "I- I can see my brother, thanks M- Mr?"

The guy that saved me was gone and I then heared Brian shout my name and saw him running towards me. 'wait till he hears this' I think to myself.
