NOAH JOHNSON, THE GEMINI PNEUMA POV:
And here's Lillian (in case you wondered how she looks like) she's not one of the Zodiacs or their advisers but she'll appear some time in the later chapters
It was the middle of a windy night and Lilian and I were having a peaceful walk. It had been a tiring day what with all the arguments with the other members of the Fortimistes Prime Council. It was quite frustrating actually. I mean on one hand they call me the best Fortimistes of the age and make me their leader and on the other hand they never accept any of the suggestions that I give. How absurd is that?
But, I have Lilian. She cheers me up every time I so much as look at her.
Tonight we were walking around the forest near the academy in silence. But it was enough to make me almost forget all my worries.
"So," she said finally, "What did they decide on?"
I sighed, "They decided the best thing to do was to talk it out with the Abians."
Her eyes widened so much that it looked like they would pop out any second.
"WHAT??!!" she exclaimed, "ARE THEY OUT OF THEIR MINDS? THEY'D BE MURDERED FASTER THAN I COULD SAY TRINITY BRODEUR!" (A/N: Don't know what this means? read the past chapters)
I looked down, "It's true that I lead them, but the whole Council's against me.2
"Well, it is also true that you spent two years in the Abians' maze and escaped, killing thousands of the Abians in the process. Has anyone else ever done that? No! They should listen to you!" Lilian said passionately.
"They won't understand," I said.
"Then make them! You've got enough on your plate what with the Uoranie(A/N: these are a mix between bloodhounds and giants) uprising in the south and all!"
This actually made me chuckle. This was my Lilian, always believing that I could do anything.
I was about to reply to her when I heard a faint rustling behind me. I was immediately on alert. A second later I saw just what it was. Being a child of Cassieopia, I could see The Beyond. To explain it to you, my eyes were like four different cameras situated at different corners of a room. Except in this case the "room" was the whole Earth and the things that existed in other dimensions that normal Fortemistes and humans couldn't see. I could literally see everything all at once. It used to be annoying, but I had learned to control it.
