The mortal children of the constellations somehow end-up being the Zodiacs. Now obviously the immortals would reject them and try to finish them off, all the while the "Exterior Forces" trying the same thing. And it wouldn't make matters any better...

MELANIE ROBERTS, THE SCORPIO PNEUMA POV:
I rushed to dorm room crying. Jaxon ran behind me, calling me back over and over.
"Melanie! Come back! It's not like you think it is!" he shouted just as I closed my door screaming, "Fuck off!"
I ran to my bed and cried my heart out. I had just caught my boyfriend of 2 years making out with my best friend.
Some years ago, I would never have thought that one day I'd be crying over a boy, but then some years ago Lucas would've been with me too.......
Damn it! Remembering Lucas just made me cry that much more. Why? Why did it always happen to me?
Sometime while I was crying, I fell asleep. When I woke up, it was time for dinner.
I quickly cleaned my face and brushed my hair, taking care to look presentable; I couldn't let the Fortemistes see that I, I had been crying.
As I proceeded outside, I saw Jaxon leaning against the pillar outside my room. Seeing him brought the pain back full-force and I tried to rush past him. Note: tried.
He grabbed my arm and pulled me to him saying, "Thank god you woke up. Look I really wanna say that-" He got cut-off by me slapping him.
He dropped my arm and looked at me with pure frustration and rage in his eyes. Oh, so he was angry now!
"Why won't you listen what I'm trying to say! I-"
"There isn't anything to listen. We're over," I said coldly, trying hard not to cry.
His eyes turned wide in surprise and he turned stock-still. After a few moments he came to life, "Y-you aren't serious, right?" When I didn't say anything, he came forward to grab my hand, but then thought better of it and said, "Look think this through when you cool down a bit okay?"
I was about to make a sarcastic retort when abruptly the earth started shaking badly. I lost my balance, but luckily Jaxon caught me before I fell. I quickly detached myself from him and ran outside to see what was happening, Jaxon behind me. This wasn't normal. I mean, it wasn't an earthquake, it was....something else. A monstrous presence.
Outside the Academy, I pushed myself through the huge crowd of people that were already there and reached the front to see my worst fear come true.
An army of Uoranie was marching towards us, with Jadiyan in their lead.....
So Jadiyan was this really magnificent Fortemistes who turned power hungry and became and decided to convert into an Uoranie by some means that are still hidden. We never knew that could happen, and now that it did, the result is horrendous.
