STEVE BROOKS, THE LIBRA PNEUMA POV:
I laid in the stone bed gazing up at the blank ceiling. I had been arrested earlier in the year and now I laid in my cell waiting impatiently for my friends to find the evidence that it wasn't me who planed the genocide that took place two years ago.
What did I do to deserve this? I now kind of get why Ryan Adley turned against his own people, these Fortemistes were far too ungrateful.
I was their leader, I had lead them to victory in far too many battles, I had sacrificed a lot for my people and they had turned against me? This was far too unjust.
I wondered, if Judy had been here, then she would've found a way to get me out of this.
I closed my eyes and felt some stinging in my chest. For the past few days, I was feeling a bit sick and a little short of breath. I suppose these were the side-effects of staying in a small cell for almost a year, alone.
I sort of dozed off for a moment and when I opened my eyes, there was a bright flash of light before me and a tall, lean man in a black and white suit stepped out of it. I recognized him instantly. How could I not since my father Canis was really famous among the Fortemistes. All the constellations were.
"Steve Ian Brookes, you've been chosen. Come with me," he said. I felt a strange sensation down my spine and then I passed out.

AMAINA BURGHANY, THE LIBRA ADVISER POV:
We were all running around, trying to escape from these people who had attacked our academy. We didn't know who these were, but one thing was for sure; they were NOT friendly. The gunshots I heard from behind me confirmed as much.
My friends and I soon found an out-of-the-way janitor closet which blended so well with the walls that even I, who was a daughter of Cetus and had highly developed senses, didn't notice it.
We quickly hid in there and...waited. Waited for all of this to end.
I could hear screams and wails from outside and hoped that official help would arrive soon.
Finally, I couldn't take it anymore. There would be little children out there, lost and scared. It wasn't fair that we were safe here while they weren't.
"I am going outside," I announced and sure enough my friends were shocked.
Stuart grabbed my wrist to stop me from going and whisper-shouted, "Amiana, are you out of you fucking mind!?"
"I-I'll be back. Those people out there need help," I replied and proceeded to go out.
"They don't need your help!" Serena shouted behind me, but I ignored her.
The corridor outside was littered with dead bodies and there was blood everywhere. I decided to ignore it and find someone who needed my help.
Two corridors ahead of me, I could hear subtle crying. I ran there and found a little blond girl, covered in blood and wearing torn clothes. I bended on my knee to speak to her.
"Hey, where have they gone?" I asked and as she turned her head up, I could barely make-out her eye-colour through all her tears. "Th-Th-They, they w-went d-down," and after saying this, she burst out crying again. Seeing her like that broke my heart. She was too young to be going through this.
"C'mon. Let's get you out of here," I stood up and gave her my hand.
"Will you take me to my mom?" she asked in a small voice, gazing at me hopefully.
I nearly cried. God knew where her mom was, whether she was even in this world or not. But I couldn't tell her that so instead I said, "Yeah I'm taking you to your mom."
She smiled happily and jumped up to grab my hand. Quickly, I led her through the corridors and finally reached the place where the rest of my friends were hiding. Carefully, I opened the door and the girl stepped inside. Just as I was about to go in myself, I saw someone aim a gun at me seconds before they pulled the trigger.
The bullet hit me in my head and I fell to the ground. I could hear the screams of my friends, but they were a bit muffled, like I was hearing them underwater. Í was in so so much pain. Blood pooled around me and it took me a second to realize it was my blood. All I could register was the pain. God, let it end, let it end, please let it end!
I could feel my heart-beat slowing and my breathing getting ragged.
Suddenly, there was a flash of light before me and a man with chocolate brown hair, hooded blue eyes and a square face stepped out of it. My eyes widened as I saw him. Was he here to stop the attack on the Academy? To help....me? That was a bit too much to hope.
"Amiana Burghany, you've been chosen. Come with me," as Cetus, my father, said those words, they pain in my body stopped all of a sudden and I fainted.
A/N: So I mentioned this before and am mentioning it again that even though some chapters are short, all of them play a key part in the story.
