Dear Diary,
My name is Maddie Ziegler, I am twelve years old and I am in seventh grade. I guess you should learn some things about me diary. I want to start by saying I had it all, I was the star of two Sia music videos Chandelier and Elastic Heart, I was a member of the Abby Lee Dance Company, Abby made sure everybody danced exactly like me because... well I am Abby's favourite. I was on top of the pyramid almost every single week and won most of my solos I competed in.
One day everything changed, I checked by Twitter feed and all a saw was hate, hate, hate. All of the comments were like this...
"Ewwwwww why is a beautiful dancer so ugly"
"You get so much attention it's disgusting, give the other girls a chance"
"You are more of a brat than JoJo, that's saying something"
"Sia's career is dead if an ugly slut dances in any more of her videos"
"Maddie is so snobby and rude, she only cares about herself and nobody else. She never pays attention to any of the other girls even Mackenzie her own sister"
As soon as I read those comments I broke down, it was like a wave of water hit me and I'm never going to become dry because I am covered in tears. I've told nobody about the tweets my family, the other girls and not even Abby.
This is my sad, sad life and here I am sharing it
