"The shinobi world is over," a croaking voice stated as a spark flashed in front of my eyes.
When the spark disappeared I was able to look around and see my surroundings. I could see smoke in the sky and rubble in the ground. 'Where am I?' I wondered to myself.
It took a minute to realize that I wasn't standing on the ground but rather on the Hokage mountain of a very destroyed Hidden Leaf Village. "What's going on here," I asked myself as I could feel my chest heaving at the destruction around me.
Putting my arm on my heaving chest I tried to calm down. But it was hard as I could hear the clashing of metal nearby. I noticed the sound of metal clashing, and it was very close this time. Looking around I could see two people battling on the mountain.
I scolded myself as I never noticed this but it didn't matter as I tried to get as far away from here as possible but I couldn't move an inch. I tried to move but no matter how hard I tried, I failed at the simple act of moving. It was as if I was chained and that I can't move, or that something is showing me something.
I had a gut feeling on the second intuition as I felt more attracted to spectating the battle. Spectating the battle, I gave a good look at both the fighters. One person wore baggy pants, a white shirt, and a black coat. One noticeable thing I noticed about him was that he had red tattoo patterns on his left arm.
I turned and looked at the second fighter. He seemed to be on the short-side one as he was nearly my height. He wore black shorts with a single white stripe, a white shirt, and above it a blue jacket. But this person was more interesting as the only human feature on him was his skull. Every part of his body that's visible to me is pure bone. 'As if he's a skeleton beneath those clothes,' I thought to myself.
Looking at the skeleton and the other person I could tell that they had some history. The skeleton was smiling but the other one kept frowning and his eyes showed anger. And the skeleton didn't miss the message as his smile faltered a little bit. So the skeleton spoke, "Did you have to take it that far?"
"I will take you to where I took lord 7th,"
The random person ignored the skeleton's question as his tattoo pattern began to glow and shift until it ended with a pike above his eye. The skeleton frowned at this as a blue glowing mark also spread up above his eye as well. While it was doing so, the skeleton grabbed a Hidden Leaf headband and tied it to his forehead.
"Even so," the skeleton commented as he finished tying the headband, "I am a shinobi."
Both fighters got into a stance, then launched at each other ready for a fight for their lives. I felt excited to see the fight play out but suddenly my vision flashed continued to do so until I could barely see anything. Looking around I could see that the flashes turned my surroundings white and that I felt that I was falling. I felt helpless in the situation and eye closed my eyes and prepared for the worse but it never came.
*gasp*
My eyes open suddenly and saw that I was in my room. I could feel my chest heave from my panicking breaths, so I quickly sat up and slowly calmed down. 'What happened?' I asked myself, putting my hand over my eye to soothe my headache.
My eyes widened as I noticed my hand covering my eye. I pulled it back and nearly screamed as my hand was a skeleton. My vision blurred at what I was seeing, my hand a skeleton. That is impossible, why is my hand a skeleton?
In fact, why is my leg a skeleton as well? Looking at my leg, it too was all bone. Not only that but I now noticed that my whole body was a skeleton. I sighed in annoyance as I tried to remember how this happened, but my memory came up black on this.
