D-Rank Suck

Ok let me tell you this, I thought that being a shinobi would be exciting. Fighting bad guys or doing exciting missions with friends. But no, I get to waste my time doing simple chores for genin. As of now, I am walking someone's dog. This would have been better, doing this than painting a fence that no one will notice. 'Oh, but people will someday notice' they say. And if they do and you get rich off of it then congradu-fucking-lations. 

Okay with that out of my system, I am still walking these random-ass dogs for cheap pay. 

"Man this sucks" I yelled.

"Stop complaining Boruto, this is necessary for us shinobi," Sarada said while glaring at me.

"Come on! Mitsuki do you think this is boring" I asked Mitsuki.

"This is necessary Boruto" Mitsuki responded.

"Ok fine but don't you think that this is enough, we've been doing this for a week now. Don't you want to do something fun" I asked while picking up dog shit with a plastic bag.

"That I agree with you Boruto, but still every mission is important" Sarada agreed while Mitsuki also nodded.

Finally reaching the dog owner's block we returned the dogs to the owner and gave us a huge middle finger. Not actually but a 10 Ryo check which felt like a middle finger. Once we grouped up with Konohamaru, he also congratulated us.

"Konohamaru sensei can we do something more interesting like a C-rank or something" I mumbled.

"Boruto you know that every mission is important even D-ranks" Konohamaru responded.

"But I want to test how strong I am" I challenged while Sarada and Mitsuki nodded in agreement.

*sigh* "Ok sure we could do a C-rank later on. But now we have another mission to do," he said.

"Let me guess we cut grass, deliver mail, or fix fences" I mumbled in irritation.

"You are correct Boruto," Konohamaru said while smiling and then was walking to the Hokage building to collect our mission details.

"Does he mean that we're going to do all of them?" I asked and they nodded? 

"Sarada what time is it now" I quickly asked.

"It's 11:00 Boruto" she responded.

"Damn this is going to be one long day," I said as I began to run to Konohamaru.

Time skip

"I can't do this. I can't fucking do this" I nearly yelled as I was being restrained by Sarada.

"Calm down Boruto, the day is almost over" she replied while holding me down.

"How can I, we walked the same dude's dogs three times this week and we had to catch a cat from hell" I yelled while trying to break free. 

"For the last time Boruto, the day is almost over" she yelled back before letting me go, forcing me to fall to my face.

Looking up I was about to argue with Sarada until "Okay the day is over and tomorrow we're going to do our first C-rank mission". Looking at Konohamaru, seeing that he is smiling and knowing that he is not lying as well I quickly said my goodbyes and left the building. Looking to see if anyone was nearby, which thankfully there was no one, I teleported to Grillby's.

Upon arriving, I was met with a strange sight. I could see construction workers in and outside of the building. Seeing that everyone was doing their own thing, I head up to Grillby to see what's going on. 

"Oh, we're going to expand a bit. By giving us some hotel rooms" he responded. 

Going up to the jukebox I began playing some 'Moonlight Mile' by the Rolling Stones.

Then I headed to the big table where everyone was playing poker. Sitting on an empty seat I asked for a cig and some cards. And while I was playing I was wondering what type of mission is going to be for my C-rank tomorrow. 

Drago, seeing that I'm just sitting and thinking asked me what's on my mind. Looking at him I responded, "Well, tomorrow I am going to my first C-rank mission". It seemed my answer got some people's attention as they began to talk about what type of mission I will be taking. 

"Guys calm down it's a simple mission so it should be easy" I declared while looking at my cards.

"Boruto, you should know that all missions are important" Escanor replied, looking at his cards with disinterest.

"Yeah, but I have my teammates and my Jonin sensei to back me up" I claimed while betting 50 ryo for the next cards.

"Hmph, but still be careful out there, the world is unpredictable" Escanor added before folding along with everyone else doing the same. Looking at my cards I could see a ... 'Holy crap, that's a royal flush I have'. Seeing that everyone is getting ready for another round I placed my cards down. 

With everyone seeing my cards I soon was the center of attention again as they kept asking me 'How the fuck did you get a royal flush'. I simply told them that I had some luck I guess as I got up and proceed to head to the door. 

'Huh, I guess I do have luck, maybe I will be lucky on this C-rank' I thought as I soon appeared to my room to see that Himawari was waiting for me.

"Himawari what are you doing in here," I asked.

"Oh well, I uh, wanted to sleep with you, you know like a sleepover" she responded while sitting on my bed.

 "Okay fine, but don't make it a habit" I warned before taking off my shirt and got under my sheets. 

I guess I didn't fully understand what she meant by sleeping with me as she is currently sleeping beside me and began hugging me. I tried to push her away but I could see that she was already asleep and knowing that once she was asleep while cuddling something, there's no escape. Getting comfortable I began to lose consciousness with my last thought on how I and my luck will help me with tomorrow's mission. 

Oh, how wrong I am.
