POV: Taro
I open the door to see someone in a chair in front of the principal. At Least I think it is the principal.
"Good morning sir," I say while walking in.
"Good morning to you too. I am Mr. Mandalin."
"It's nice to meet you in person."
"I'd like you to meet Aio Yandere," says Mr. Mandalin with Aio standing.
"H-hi," he says without making eye contact.
"Oh no it's fine, you seemed panicked," I reply awkwardly.
Mr. Mandalin interrupts us saying, "It seems you two have met before. Perfect. I wanted Aio to show you around the school. So see you two later."
"Let's start with floor one," says Aio while walking out of the office.
I'm glad he is showing me around. I didn't want to end up with a girl. This seems to be a nice school. Clean bathrooms, nice people, and even the food is good here. Mom would be proud I was able to get into this school. I wonder if Dad would be proud too. He wouldn't.
"That's the whole school... and sorry for running off this morning. But I was wondering if you wanted to hang out after school?" Aio suggests.
"It's fine and sure, I'll have to quickly stop by my house to drop off my sister first. Is that alright with you?"
"Yeah, it's fine. I'll see you after school."
"What about lunch?" I ask.
"I have to do something first," replies Aio with a stern voice.
"Oh, okay. By then?"
That was weird. Why did he get all emotionless right there? I am probably just overreacting. Maybe something is going on with his life. Whatever I just gotta get to class now.
