Perfect. He doesn't know it was me. Well, he could suspect it is me. I'll blind him with love. I will tell him what I did. He won't love you if you tell him. I'll make him love me if he doesn't. Time for classes and planning my confession...

I sigh. Finally, the class is over. I need to get to the tree before Taro so I can get ready. There is just enough wind so the pedals are falling but not too much where the dirt gets in your eyes. Perfect day. What if he says no. I'll make sure he doesn't. But, where is he?
"Huff, huff. Sorry I'm a b-bit late," says Taro out of breath.
"It's fine Taro."
"So, what did you want to meet up here about?"
Come on, tell him.
"I love you! Even though I just met you. I would do anything for you. I did something most people would never do just for love."
"I- I don't know how I feel. But, what did you do?"
"I killed her."
"Y-your meaning to tell me that you k-killed Heita? Why... "
"She loved you. I can't let someone take you away from me. You make me feel something in the cold world I live in. Now. Do you love me?"
"Why would I love a monster?!"
"Wrong answer. I'll give you another chance until you get to be with your friend."
I look at him with emptiness in my eyes. Like I'm looking right through him. Into the eyes of someone terrified for their life.
"Well? I don't have all day."
"I... I love you too..." answers Taro with a shaky voice.
"Perfect! No one will get in our way. No one."
"Please don't hurt anyone anymore."
"I won't hurt anyone that's in our way. So don't be dumb and go talking to anyone else."
With a look of uneasiness, he lightens up. His shoulders drop.
"Now my love. It's just you and me. Ready?"
"Ready for what?"
"You ready for a life of love and blood?"
"Well... I know I can't leave you. So I might as well give into you."
"Perfect. Let's get our crazy life started!"
"Together," we say in unison.
And like that. I feel something. I'm no longer empty.
