"Merlin!" Arthur's voice echoed down the stone passages. Moments later, the warlock was seen running through the castle, until he collapsed inside Arthur's room fighting for breath.

Arthur looked at him quizzically and helped him to his feet.

"You know, you don't have to run every time I yell."

"Yes I do," Merlin said breathlessly. "If I'm not with you within minutes, you normally hit me with something."

"I've told you: that's only horseplay."

"What did you want?" He smiled.

"I've made a decision."

"About what?"

"Never mind."

"You don't trust me?"

"Of course I do but you need to trust me on this. I'm calling a meeting for the whole castle. I expect every one to be in the Great Hall in one hour. It's your job to spread the word."

"Do you know how big this castle is?"

"Yes. That's why you're going to tell everybody and not me."

Merlin shook his head. Some things never changed.
