***The Great Hall, one hour later***

The Great Hall was filled with Knights, servants, guards and anyone else lucky enough to be wandering round the castle that day. Gwaine, Percival and the serving girl- Marina- slipped into the Hall minutes before the meeting started. Gwaine sat down next to Sir David.

"Anything happened yet?" He asked.

"I don't know. Maybe but I was too busy eating. They've got these new things called sausages and they're delicious."

Gwaine sighed. David would never think of anything but his stomach.

The main doors burst open and Arthur strode in, closely followed by Merlin. The crowd stood and waited for Arthur's signal to sit again. Arthur nodded and the sound of hundreds of chairs scraping against the floor filled the room. When it stopped, Arthur's voice rang clearly through the room.

"A week ago, Camelot lost it's queen. It was a tragic death and no-one felt it more keenly than I," he paused. "Now, it is with great joy that I tell you, I have found a new partner."

Whispers of shock rippled throughout the room. Merlin wondered if Arthur had been drinking.

"In six months time, I shall be married once more. To whom? Merlin." A stunned silence filled the room as everyone stared at Merlin.

"My king," Gwaine stood from the table. "Let me be the first to congratulate you. Your actions have filled me with great courage and I stand before you to confess that I also am in love." Arthur nodded for him to continue. Gwaine walked round to Percival, who rose to meet him.

Gwaine stared at Percival for a second and as their lips met, the room erupted into wild applause for the two couples.

Marina smiled. They'd finally left the (broom) closet.
