"I think that one's lonely," Dean chimed in as he stared at the mice in the glass cage, before directing his gaze over to Billy for a moment, and then back to the cage. "Should you write that down?"
Billy grimaced, a discomforted expression on his face. "Uh, yeah, Dean," he said uncomfortably, placing a finger in the air as he spoke. "I'll just write down that 'Drug may cause loneliness...in mice." Nearly sarcastically, he continued. "Anything else?"
"Well, that one in the back may be mad at that one over there," Dean continued seriously, pointing between the mice as he spoke. "They won't look at each other."
"Why are you down here?" Pete asked in a serious tone, crossing his arms against his chest as he scowled.
"I don't have class until one thirty," Dean replied, before glancing over at you. "And she's down here all the time anyways! Well, Hank is following me around looking for advice on how to score with women."
Billy scoffed, a chuckle escaping his lips as he asked, "Do you know anything about that?"
"If I did, would I be down here?" Dean asked in a serious tone.
Y/N couldn't help laughing at his words, placing her hand over her face as her lips curled upwards. "I think I know how to get him to leave you alone, then," she chimed in an amused tone, a smirk against her lips as she moved to gently move Dean away from the mice.
"What about the experiment?" Pete said in an exasperated tone, glancing over to the y/e/c eyed woman.
Rolling her y/e/c eyes, she motioned with her eyes that she was getting Dean out so that the two of them could work on their experiment. "I'll be down in a little while, and maybe they'll be like, building a cross or something by that point," she replied, a smirk against her features. "I'm sure you boys will manage a couple minutes without me."
"How are you going to keep him away from me?" Dean asked curiously, quirking a brow as he glanced up at her.
With a grin, she said as she attempted to direct the boy further out of the lab, "Well, I'm going to give him the advice he needs."
"Do you even know anything about that, Y/N?" Billy jested with a laugh. "It's not like you've been with anyone."
"I'm better at giving advice than taking it for myself," she replied in a deadpanned tone, glaring at Billy. "You boys don't know if I've been with anyone anyways." Allowing a huff to escape her lips, she glanced back down to Dean. "Come on, you can go study for whatever class or something. Let them make religious mice in peace."
As Y/N left the room with Dean, Pete turned to Billy with a quirked eyebrow. "Can you believe that?" Pete said with an exhausted sigh. "She's just going to go off while we're in the middle of an experiment! What's her problem?"
"White, do you not see that she did that for us?" Billy said, moving his hands as he spoke. "She could tell that Dean was bothering us, and she took care of it. Y/N doesn't need to be down here while we're working anyways. She's not a scientist."
"Come on, fella, do you think she's been, you know, hiding things from us?" Pete said, his lips tight as he whispered, though his hand motions were louder than his words. "What could she even possibly be telling that kid?"
"Well, she is her own woman," Billy said wisely, placing a finger against his chin as he spoke. Within seconds, he placed a finger in the air, a brilliant smile against his features. "Don't we have that little microbot somewhere? I can admit that I am curious as well."
"I didn't mean spy on her!" Pete replied in an exasperated tone, throwing his hands up in the air. As he thought more about it, though, curiosity had perked his interests, and he bit his lip. His hands returned to his side as he continued. "It should be labeled under V62 something."
