Chapter 2 - Controlling Emotions

It was non other my brother (Veer Malhotra aka dada)

Veer: Sam what happened are u alright?
Sameer: Dada, Dada that dream
Veer: You had that dream again?

Sameer nodded his head and started crying. He hugged Veer tightly. He kept on sobbing and crying out loud. By the sound of crying, Vaishanvi woke up. She went to Sameer's room and checked that he was crying hugging Veer tightly

Vaishnavi: What happened? Everything alright? What happened sam?

Both of them were silence. Until Sameer spoke

Sameer: Bhahbi, I...I ..... I can't stop blaming blaming myself for the incident that happened 6 years ago. I just can't

Vaishanvi: Calm down.

Vaishanvi rubs her hand on Sameer's back. Vaishanvi's comes and sits on the bed. Sameer placed his head on her lap. He starts speaking

Sameer: Bhahbi why can't these dreams stop coming to me? They haunt me everytime. I always wake up at the middle of the night and unfortunately I have to take sleeping pills, which I hate taking. Bhahbi what do I do?

Vaishanvi: Sameer you need to control and calm yourself. You are a strong man. The Sameer I know it really hard from outside but soft from inside. You have to control your emotions

Vaishanvi: I believe that a girl will come into your life and change your whole world. She will take your out from darkness and she will shine in your life and dreams. Trust me Sameer. There will be a girl who make your forget your past and the bad incidents. She will make you feel another person. A new person and she will love you a lot.

Sameer had already fallen asleep. Vaishanvi carefully placed his head on his pillow and kissed on his forehead and went to her room.

Veer's POV

I am helpless. I can't do anything to help my brother out. I need to ask Vaishnavi she understand Sameer a lot, more than me at least. I feel so guilty when my brother blames himself for the past incident.

I was thinking when a finger snapped in front of my face

Vaishanvi: Where are u lost Veer?
Veer: No...no.. where why what happened?
Vaishanvi: You can't lie to me tell me. Is it about Sameer

That's the moment I couldn't control myself and hugged her tightly and cried in her shoulder. She was patting my back to calm me down.

Veer: I...I ca..n't see my brother in this state. He always wakes up in the middle of the night and he always gets nightmares of that incident.

Vaishanvi pulled me back from the hug, but my hands were still on her waist. She made me sit on the bed

Vaishnavi: You need to stop crying Veer and make yourself confident and strong. Make Sameer strong. He loves us a lot. In this moment he needs love and support. You need to support ok?

I nodded to the question of Vaishnavi. She quickly wiped my tears off and told me sleep. I slept placing my head on her shoulder and we both drifted to deep sleep.
