Chapter 39

Oralbella's point of view:

I look back expecting to see one of my brothers but only to see a women standing infront of me. I squeeze Lucia's hand while the lady in front of me smile at me. She walk towards me and i don't know but I'm having a bad feeling about her even though she is smiling but her eyes are filled with darkness. She is wearing a short red dress with a black coat over it with black long boats. She kneel down and i flinch when she touch my left cheek with her long black fake nails. She smirk as if she is enjoying making me flinch. I was about to back away when she held my right arm and said: "easy there hun."

I bit my lip feeling tears in my eyes. Lucia immediately push me behind her and said: "hey b-back away."

I can feel Lucia trembling but still she is protecting me. The lady infront of us stood up straight with her hands in mock surrender. She sighed and said: "i need to talk to you Oralbella."

I shake my head and my hold on Lucia's arm tighten. Lucia quickly held my hand and was about to run away but my feet freeze when the lady said: "don't you wanna know what your brothers do for a living and why they badly don't want you to know about it?"

I look at her and i hear Lucia screaming. I gasp and held Lucia's left arm because a guy is pulling Lucia with him. I look here and there only to see the mall is empty. I look at the women with teary eyes who just smirk and said: "my dear how about we talk in the most civil way."

I nodded and said: "let my friend go."

Lucia look at me with wide eyes and shouted: "no i can't leave you here all alone."

I bit my lip while looking down and said: "Lu please go away. I will be fine."

The guy drag Lucia out when the lady said: "take her to her school safe and sound."

I look at lady who is now having a sinister smile on her face and said: "do you know who am i?"

I shake my head in a no still trembling and she said: "I'm Ericka Atlas your brother Michael Denaro's ex."

I gasp and look at here with wide eyes and said: "but he never told me."

A sad pout form on her lips and said: "maybe your not that important to him. Maybe your brothers don't trust you enough to tell you about their business."

I shake my head and rub my eyes with the back of hand. She scoff and said: "follow me and I'll explain everything to you."

I whine a little when she hold my  right wrist tightly in her left hand. She glare down at me and i stop whining and look down. We sat on one of the chairs. I look at her as she is now sitting infront of me. She smirk and said: "you know why am i here?"

I shake my head in a no to afraid tos ay anything and she said: "because i want to save you from your pathetic brothers. They are keeping you in the dark."

I open my mouth to protest but she point her index finger at me and said: "don't you dare to say anything untill i say so."

I look down and then she said: "your brother Michael torture me to the core that i run away from him. He is a selfish, egoistic, narcissistic bitch."

I look at her with wide eyes and said: "no he isn't don't say these kind of stupid things. "

She just smile and said: "of course we can't blame him because that's what you do when you are in mafia."
