Elise's POV

"And that's a wrap," the director said, signaling the end of filming for The Carmilla Movie. I jumped up and ran into the arms of my girlfriend, Natasha, who returned the hug. I looked up at her catlike eyes, a goofy smile on my face.

Suddenly, as Nat and I walked out of the studio, quickly joined by our friends Annie, Kaitlyn, Nicole, Matt, Sharon and Sophia, a strange portal opened in front of us and two very familiar looking girls walked out of it.

Laura's POV

As Carmilla, and I walked out of our portal, LaFontaine, Perry, Kirsch, Danny and Matska walking out of other portals, I noticed that we were standing in front of two girls who looked just like us. My friends seemed to notice this too, and quickly struck up conversations with their lookalikes. LaF was talking animatedly with Kaitlyn about their adventures and their "super cool laser eyes," as they put it; Perry was talking to Annie about the pros and cons of stress cleaning; Kirsch was talking to Matt about, well, guy stuff; Danny was talking to Sharon as though she were an old friend, and Mattie was talking to Sophia about the possibilities that come from being in a new world.

"Hey, Carm, is that who I think it is?" I asked through our mind link. Carm nodded before walking up to who I assumed was...

"Natasha Negovanlis, it's a pleasure to meet you," she said, extending her hand out. Natasha took it, shaking Carm's hand.

"The pleasure is all mine, Carmilla Karnstein," she said. "And I assume that is..." she trailed off, gesturing to me.

"Yup," I said. "Laura Hollis, Vampire Reporter here."

"Wait, vampire?" Elise asked. "Last I remember, you were still human."

"I assume you just finished filming the movie that takes place five years after the webseries, which would be 2020 in the universe that we just came from?" Carmilla asked.

"Yes," Elise replied. "Wait. How do you know all that?"

"Everything that you all filmed for your webseries and the movie is all real," Carm explained. "It just took place in a different universe."

"Anyways, Carm and I did end up going back to Silas to stop Lophiiformes' children from maturing, turns out that the original Anglerfish was actually a female, which would explain the lure and the cluster of eggs it left behind, but the whole school had already been taken over by the very jerk who murdered Danny right in front of me," I said. "We were immediately attacked, LaF losing their only remaining organic eye, and I was poisoned. It took Carm a while, and even some motivating from someone I never expected would help us, to finally turn me."

"Wait. Who convinced you to turn Laura?" Kaitlyn asked, having just finished their conversation with LaF.

"It was Elle," Carm admitted. Our lookalikes responded with a chorus of "WHAT?!"s and wide-eyed stares.

"It's true", she elaborated. I never expected her to help me or any of my friends, given our history, but she'd had a change of heart and eventually decided to be our 'ghostly tech support', as the ginger nerd just had to point out, and was actually the one who opened all those portals to save us from our dying universe. I just hope she made it out in time."

"Well, why don't we continue this over dinner?" Annie suggested. "You're all invited to my place for dinner." We all agreed, and began to head to Annie's home.

Author: So, I decided to rewrite this as "the Carmilla characters meet their actors", instead of the previous "Carmilla characters and actors are the exact same people". I also didn't want to try to write in the other conversations that were happening at the same time as the main conversation, so I simply mentioned that there were other conversations.
