Chapter Two

Sami and George began to meet twice a week in the library. Sami's Transfiguration skills thankfully improved, she didn't know if she could have handled failing a class anymore. She was a Ravenclaw, for Merlin's sake. It basically went without saying that she was expected to have perfect marks. Soon she was meeting George outside of their tutoring sessions just to hang out, sometimes his twin Fred or the twins' friend Lee Jordan would come along too. Sami had a mischievous streak, and she was soon developing pranks with all three Gryffindors. Soon it wasn't an uncommon sight to see two red-haired and one dark haired, dreadlocked Gryffindor boys prowling the halls and laughing with a slim, petite blonde haired with green eyes Ravenclaw. 

Second year sped by quickly, and Sami was able to keep her grades up. On the Hogwarts Express home, she sat with the boys who had quickly become her best friends: Fred, George, and Lee. As they all disembarked the train, George called to her, "You must come visit this summer! I'll write you and you can take the Floo to our place!" They made plans and then headed home with their families. Mid-July, Sami received a letter from George, reading:

Hullo, Sami!

Mum says that you can absolutely come visit, and you can spend the rest of the summer with us if you want. I think she thinks that because you're a Ravenclaw, you'll be a 'good influence'. As if! The guest room's all ready for you, so come whenever you want.

George

Sami was quick to reply back.

I'll be there on Saturday.

Sami

George sent her another letter, just four words, but they made her very happy, for whatever reason.

Smashing! See you Saturday!

Saturday came, and she used the Floo Network to head to the Weasleys'. Everyone else was doing chores, but George had been permitted to wait for her. She dusted herself off and George stood up to hug her. "Good to see you, Harrison," said George. "Yeah. You too." whispered Sami, melting into his embrace and trying to ignore the way her heart was pattering.

Author's Note: It's finally starting to happen! Nothing real will happen until fourth year, though, and third year is going to be a big one, since Harry will be a first year. Looking forward to whatever responses you give me!
