Blair.

As soon as the plane landed I felt like throwing my bag at my parent's faces. So much for 'it rains a little more than LA' more like 'I'm surprised that plane landed safely, since it's pissing down rain so much'. I walked through the airport, looking out the large windows at the forest-filled back-drop. The sky was covered in clouds and the rain was heavy enough that I could only just make out the forest in the back ground. I grabbed my luggage with an extremely pissed off expression on my face and dragged it to a taxi. As we drove towards the college I wanted to throw a lot more than my Gucci bag at my parents. There was thick, dense forest on either side of the road and every building we occasionally passed looked at least one hundred years old. Even though the cab driver had the heat on I was freezing. I wore my long white, turtleneck cashmere top, my black ¾ woollen overcoat, blue denim straight-legged jeans, a pair of heeled boots that I bought on my last shopping trip with the girls, leather gloves and thick, red scarf.

I felt my Iphone vibrate from my large designer bag and pulled it out. I had a text from Candice and Layla asking how England was. For a moment I considered telling them the truth, but I thought of them telling all my other 'friends' in California and everyone having a good old laugh about me being stuck in the pouring rain. Instead I text; It's so pretty here! Plus I've seen sooo many hot guys with ADORABLE English accents! xx.

I grabbed my bag and stood outside of the cab, making sure that there were arrangements for my luggage to be taken to my assigned dorm. Once I was done speaking to the person in charge of luggage I started walking along the school path, heading towards the main doors. The outside of the college was red brick and looked like an old palace. There were students hanging around the front of the school and a few groups of girls started to whisper as I walked pass. The school felt like it was in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by nothing but empty fields and trees. I walked through the main doors into the main entrance. Directly in front of me was a huge stair case, leading to dorms and class rooms, to my left there was a door saying 'reception' and to my right were rooms that looked like offices. I walked through the reception door and told a plump old lady that I was a new student. She directed me through to the Headmistresses' office and told me to take a seat next to another new student, until the Headmistress arrived.

I sat down in an old leather chair and fixed up the tie on my uniform. The girl next to me was around my age and she certainly wasn't the sort of person I was going to be making friends with. She had medium length dark brown hair, that was un-stylishly hung back in a messy, loose pony tail. Her large eyes were dark green with hazel specks and her whole attitude shouted 'don't mess with me'. The uniform looked to formal on her small frame, but the colours made her skin look surprisingly tan. I hated to admit it, but with a smudge of make-up here and there and a better fashion sense she would be amazingly stunning.

"Why are you here?" I said politely to her, even though I had no intentions of having a real conversation with her. She turned to face me, some small layers of her hair, falling out around her face.

"Been expelled, for the eighth time. This last time was for setting the grounds on fire with a cigarette butt, guess I'll have to take it up a notch for this fancy place." She said in an upper-class English accent, with a smirk playing at her bold lips. My eyes widened in shock and I slowly turned my head away from her. Far out, this school accepted delinquents?!

The Headmistress entered the room with perfect timing, I seriously didn't want to be stuck in a room with a psycho-path. She was middle aged, but looked good considering. She had long, hazelnut hair pulled back into a neat bun and dressed in a business attire.

"Miss Emma Wilson," The Headmistress said reaching over to shake the delinquent girls hand.

She looked up, rather rudely, not even bothering to shake the Headmistress' hand. I looked at with my eyes wide with shock. God, were all the student's here this arrogant? The Headmistress turned to me, ignoring Emma's rudeness.

"And you must be Miss Blair Miller. I'm Mrs Kennedy, your new Headmistress." She held her hand out for me to shake - which I did, with enthusiasm.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Mrs Kennedy." I said, my voice sounding more timid than usual, which was strange for me. Emma starting coughing to cover a laugh. We were definitely not going to get along.

"Welcome to Ellesmere College young ladies. I hope that in your time here you make long-lasting friendships, learn valuable life skills and earn an education that will help you achieve your goals for the future. Now, your dormitory arrangements, where are they." She began moving files around her desk. "Ah, I must have left them with the receptionist, if you'll excuse me for one moment, while I retrieve them." She said as she stood up and walked out the door, closing it behind her.

"Let me guess why you're here. You were too smart for any other school in America, so you're here to 'broaden' your knowledge or some bullshit?" Emma said to me rudely. I raised one of my eyebrows, like I always did in a bitchy situation.

"Excuse me?" I said cunningly. "I would much prefer that situation over yours. And no, that's not the reason." I said pointedly.

"Ok, good news!" Mrs Kennedy returned to the room, sitting at her desk with our files. "You two get to share a dorm. So at least you'll be sharing with someone you already know, plus I'm sure it will make things easier, considering you are both new students to Ellesmere." She said enthusiastically.

I turned to look at Emma at the same time she did to me. You have got to be kidding me. I am sharing a room with a drug addict? I hate my parents so much right now.
