Giving off a loud sigh, the boy questioned himself what to do; go after this case, or leave it be. As much as he hated it, he wanted to make it up to them, so he decided to choose the first choice. It just felt like the right thing to do.

Putting on the dark hood again, he left the area to take off to the place where the group he saw earlier at the subway was headed to. But before that, he went to check out a few stores to make sure he wouldn't arrive earlier than he had planned. He also had to make sure he wouldn't meet Akira on the way, if that were to happen, it would mean trouble.

08:30 PM.

That was the time as the mysterious person had arrived at the Thieves' temporary hideout somewhere in an abandoned building near the Subway. Making the group fall into complete silence he took off his hood, stared at them with a look in his eyes that would practically say "I know you don't like me but I want to help" and waited for anyone to say something.

...

The silence continued on for a few minutes before Ryuji bursted out,
"DUDE YOU'RE ALIVE?!"
Morgana then jumped onto a random table of the room and stared at him as well "But how-?"
"𝘈𝘬𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘪?!", then everyone said at the same time with surprise and wonder in their voices.

"Look... I'm only here to help 𝘩𝘪𝘮, I don't give a shit what you think about me. Will you let me in on this or do I have to do it by myself?" Akechi's voice sounded so cold, but even though he said he wouldn't care about what they would think of him, he really felt sorry for what he has done and just wanted to do something to help someone for once.

"Well that's sudden, how do we even know that-" Futaba then was cut off by Ann who interrupted her sentence "We really could use some help... But only because we want to accomplish the same goal!"

"I agree with that, but we have our eyes on you, you know." Makoto added up and looked at the rest which then nodded again. Akechi sat down on a chair that was near him and stared at them in silence again before asking the Thieves about the info they have so far; "Well, what did you find out?"

After a while of explanations, Akechi took a few notes in a notebook and put a timer on how much time they would have left till the deadline and sent it to the others. "There, so we won't forget it. I doubt we would forget something so important though."

That was set into the timer, after they would find out what happens in 3 weeks, they would update it to more. But since it should be sufficient for now, they left it at that.

Agreeing on when to have their next meeting, the group then departed and each one went to their own homes.
....
Well, everyone except Akechi, he had some business to do at a familiar Cafe. He wouldn't go inside, he just wanted to check if everything was alright in there. Everything seemed like the last time he was there, even though it's been quite some time. But instead of its usual calming vibe, it now felt rather dark, but maybe that was just how the detective felt like.
Glancing one more time through the window, the brunette left again.
