The turtles headed back to the lair and the mutanimals headed back to the abandoned warehouse that they called theirs.
Secretly, the girls decided to have one last hurrah before they headed their separate ways. So they headed back in the van to Shredders old lair to hang out. A real girls night.
"So is this the activities females partake in on a girls night?" Asked Mona Lisa, "yep," smirked Karai. They were sitting around the couch in Karai's room in the lair, hanging out and having fun. Renet was chatting with Shini while doing her hair. Mona and April were secretly talking about their love life's, while trying to get Karai to open up about hers...with little success.
Even Alopex agreed to partake in the nights afterward activities. Though she just decided to lay on the floor curled up in a blanket while occasionally grumbling that she was trying to get some sleep.
"If you wanted sleep then why'd you even bother to come over?" Asked Karai, "because I didn't want to sound like-
"A buzzkill?" Added Shinigami while Renet was still doing her hair.
"I am not a killer of the buzz!" Snapped Alopex, "I simply wish to relax in peace without making a fool of myself with the entertainment that you consider fun,"
"Girl, you just defined buzzkill," answered Karai smirking.
Renet then looked at her watch and gasped. "Aw grock!" She said anxiously, "I gotta get going! Lord simultaneous is gonna kill me if I don't get the sceptre back before he wakes up!" She quickly gathered up her things and headed outside. The others followed as
She opened a portal with the sceptre. "I never thought I'd say this," said Shini compassionately, "but I'm honestly going to miss this team, and time girl...a little bit," she added trying not too sound too soft.
"Aww," gushed Renet smiling and hugging her, "You're my new friend Shini!"
Shini blushed an embarrassed red, "what ever..."
Renet said goodbye to the rest of the girls before disappearing through the portal, leaving the others to say goodbye to the rest.
"I better get back to the warehouse," said Mona, "Slash and the others will be wondering where I am."
"I must leave too," added Alopex, "I cannot stay in a place where my brother may discover me."
"You could come join my team," Mona offered, "were always looking for new recruits, and with your skill and strength you could be a great addition."
Alopex looked down, "I have no interest in joining your team. I work better alone."
"Suit yourself," shrugged Mona Lisa. She held out her hand to her and Alopex shook it.
"Also, you may keep the retro mutagen," added Alopex, "I've decided I have no use for it."
She then smiled gratefully before speeding off into the night.
"Well, at least we didn't have to tell her the truth," said Mona looking relieved.
"What truth?" Asked April.
"I never actually knew the turtles have retro mutagen in their grasp. I only said that to make her align with us," Mona said smirking a bit.
"That was a lie!?" Yelled Karai looking in amazement, "wow, you're a really good liar,"
"It's all in the face," Mona Lisa smirked looking back at them.
" Ya think we'll ever have a night like this again?" Asked April looking into the night in front of them.
"Someday O'Neil," Karai answered. "Someday..."
