You nodded to All Might as quickly ran over to Deku and gently picked him up, not caring if his sweat rubbed onto your clothes
"Damn. You're really looking like a meal, Deku." You mumbled as you stared at Deku's toned body.
A small smirk danced on Deku's lips.
He had heard what you had said and he was proud but he decided to act like he didn't hear you,if he didn't then you would probably act awkward around him.
Kaneki, who was behind him, glared at Deku and you.
Did he not make it clear enough to you that you were his? A smirk grow on his face as he stared at you.
He'd just have to teach you later.
"Good work." All Might said to Deku, a smile on his face
"Good work to you two as well." All Might said as he looked at you and Kaneki. Both of you just nodded at him.
Deku smiled back wearily "All Might... I did it..." Deku said in a tired voice
"I did it!" He said making you smile "Yeah, you suprised me, you entertainer!" All Might said.
Deku looked over at you expectantly, his eyes full of hope. You smiled, knowing what he wanted
"You did awesome Deku. Good job!" You complimented as you ruffled his hair, making the other two people that were with you quite jealous.
Deku's heart fluttered, his smile growing larger
"Teenagers are amazing!" All Might said, trying to ignore what had just happened.
He showed Deku a picture of him. It was from six months ago
"Here, take a look." All Might said "This is..." Deku started
"It's you from ten months ago." You said as you and Kaneki both stared at the picture
"You did good. You really did!" All Might said
"I agree." You said making Deku more than happy.
Kaneki nodded his head, even though he was jealous, he had to admit, Deku had improved.
"The mirage of it is finally just barely visible, but you have certainly become a suitable vessel!"
Deku looked down at his hands "I feel like I'm cheating... You did all this for me... I'm too blessed." Deku said as tears streamed down his face.
All Might laughed "We'll have to fix those leaky eyes of yours." All Might said.
Both you and Kaneki nodded in agreement.
"Now it's time for the award ceremony, Izuku Midoriya!" All Might announced
"Yes sir!" All Might plucked a strand of his hair
"This is something I was once told: "Something that you receive because you're lucky and something that you are given because you are recognized are different in essence."
Deku's eyes lit up in admiration "Take that to heart. This is the power that you earned because of your own effort." All might said.
Deku nodded, a determined look on his face making you smile.
All might slowly offered Deku the strand of his hair "Eat this." All Might said
Both you and Kaneki stared at the strand of hair, both of you bursting into chuckles.
"Huh?" Deku's face was one of confusion and panic making you laugh a bit
"It doesn't really matter what it is as long as you take in my DNA." All Might explained
"It's too different from what I imagined!" Deku responded
"Now, there's no time! You all will be late for the exam!" All might said
"Come, come, come!"
