Second Person POV

"Got your mask?" Kaneki nodded and took his mask out of his backpack

 "Do you have yours?" You nodded and took yours out (same mask as Kanekis) 

"I don't think we should wear them. People might get suspicious" 

Kaneki thought about it for awhile before nodding. 

We both put our masks back and turned to each other "Kill or no?" You asked Kaneki 

"We'll have to kill. Not many people commit suicide nowadays" Kaneki answered. 

You nodded and started walking, your eyes wandering around "Shut it kid!" You heard a man yell. 

You glanced over at Kaneki and sent him a signal to follow you.

 He nodded and you both crept towards the place where you both heard the yelling come from 

"Damn brat!" Your eyes widened as the memories flooded back 

Flashback 

"Damn brat!" She yelled, her face red from anger

 "I told you to be careful with that!" She pointed at the broken glass vase 

"It was you who purposely tripped me" You pointed out in a cold tone

"Shut up!" Her eyebrow twitched as she walked towards you and slapped you

"Can't you do anything right?!" She shouted, pushing you on the floor.

 You stayed quiet, staring at the sharp pieces of glass that pierced your skin. 

You plucked them off, ignoring her. 

Your blood immediately poured out of the wound but it quickly healed 

"Are you even listening?!" 

She glared at your, hatred clear in her eyes. 

Your shook your head, not making any expression 

"Clean that up brat!" She pointed at the broken plates before spitting on you

"Hurry up and die, useless brat!" 

Flashback End

"(m/n)?!" You snapped out of your daze and looked over at Kaneki 

"Sorry. I was thinking about her" His eyes darkened before he gave me a sad look

"We can talk about it later. Let's hurry and kill the man."

 You nodded and we both turned around. The man was beating up a little girl who was sobbing. 

Your blood boiled at the scene "I'll kill him quickly" Kaneki nodded, stepping back. 

Your kagune burst out of your back and you quickly aimed one tentacle towards the mans heart

 "And boom" 

Your tentacle pierced through his heart. 

Blood gushed out of the mans mouth and he went limp. 

You started panicking when you noticed the little girl was gone

 "It's fine. She's here" 

You looked over at Kaneki and saw his tentacle wrapped around the little girl 

"W-who are you?!" Fear was clear in her eyes

 "We're not going to hurt you" You said before Kaneki, knowing that he wasn't good with kids.

 The little girl slowly nodded her head "Why was he beating you up?" You asked, walking closer to the little girl

 "He's my dad." She had a look of disgust on her face when she finished saying that 

"He hits mommy, and me a lot! He said he didn't want me to be alive so he started hitting me" She looked down at the ground, tears pouring out of her eyes

 "Hey. It's okay" Kaneki pat the girls head "Where's your mommy?" The girl looked up, looking worried 

"I need to go to mommy! She'll be worried!" Kaneki placed her down on the floor and she turned around 

"Do you need help getting there?" She turned around and shook her head

 "Nope! Mommy is close by! Thank you for making dad go to sleep! The heroes never believed us when we told them about him! Mommy will be very happy!"

 You smiled and waved at her "No problem. Be careful!" She waved at us before turning around and running 

"Don't talk to any strangers" Kaneki said, loudly so the girl would hear.

 The girl turned around and smiled before going back to running 

"Let's take his body to an alleyway and start eating" You nodded and Kaneki picked up the body with one of his tentacles.
