I'm from Australia, my girlfriend Betty got her visa/ green card 2 years ago, she used to live in America. Well she's not my girlfriend but she's my fiancé, who is 6 months pregnant.
J-hey jethro!
Je- hey jug, what's up mate?
J-nothin much, Betty's here today
T-Betty's here?
J-hey Tommy
T-so how is she
Tommy and Jethro are my closest mates, along with Harrison and Jesse. We all have this brotherly bond.
J-she's good man, but the mood swings, god one minute she's crying the next minute she's laughing her but of.
B-hey guys
T-hey Betts
She walked over and gave all of them a hug, she came over to me and sat on my lap, she kissed my cheek and rested her head on my chest.
The others got talking about, pink trunks I think?
J-sleepy?
B-mmm
J-hungry?
She smiled and looked up at me, I kissed her forehead and got out the pickle jar for her, it was under the desk, just for her. I opened the jar for her and held it open.
B-thank you
J-your welcome princess
Je-mate can I have one?
B-are you pregnant?
Je-no?
B-then no pickles for you, only for me and this little one
Jesse-so have you found out if it's a girl or a boy.
H-I think either way that it will be the most adorable baby on the planet
J-thanks mate, but it's all her
B-can I have another one?
J-baby? Or pickle
B-jug, just give me a pickle
I laughed and have her a pickle.

B-but obviously in between the flags, plus it's not like I'm gonna go that far, my anxiety would get worse

Around half an hour later there were so many people in the water, out of nowhere the waves got stronger, and more people went in. Then out of the blue there were multiple drifting out, and one of them was Betty.
J-guys, more then 6 people drifting out, waves are getting stronger, Tommy, come with Jethro drive the biggie, Jesse, Harri, stay here. Let's go!
I ran down the steps, the guys just on my tail, Jethro got in the drivers seat, tommy and I getting ready to jump off. The buggy stopped and we jumped of, grabbing a board and paddling out as quick as possible. I swam past the first 3, I waved to shore, signalling that we would need Jethro, I saw him grab a board before I turned around and got to the others, I got Betts and I grabbed her hand and placed it on the rope, the same with the others, Tommy got 3 people back to sore, one one the board and two hanging on, I had 4 people on my board, Jethro came up to me and I quickly gave the 2 kids and their mother over to him, he paddled back to shore, I quickly got Betty on the board, she couldn't lay on her front because she was pregnant
J-baby, lay on your back, it's only gonna be for a second
She nodded and layer down on the board, a strong wave hit us and we both went under, the board slipped away and I swam up, taking in a large breath and looked around for Betty. I saw her and swam over to her as quick as possible. I grabbed on to her and pulled her up, she coughed and took a few deep breaths, the waves got stronger and stronger, I tried to wave as much as possible, I heard Betty crying in my arms, I felt her shoulders shake. I kicked my legs and strongly as possible, I felt Betts kick her legs too, as well as try and use her arm that wasn't wrapped around my waist.
B-juggie
J-I'm here, we are gonna be fine.
Betty's PoV
I tried as hard as I could to stay above the water, jug was waving his hand, a wave came and pushed me under, I tried to find water, I couldn't, I felt him slip away, I tried to swim up but I couldn't tell why way I was going, I felt coral on my foot, before I knew it my face collided with it, scratching me face, my hands s I tried to push myself away. I managed to get steady. I swam up and took the biggest breath. I saw jug and made my way to him, once he pulled me into his arms another wave took us under.
Jugheads PoV
A wave pushed us under, I held on to Betts and she held on to me, as tight as possible. I managed to get us to the top, I looked around and saw Harri come to us with the jet ski. He got to us and as more waves hit we managed to get on the raft. I kept my left arm on the rope and my right around Betty, she had her hands both on the ropes as he'd head leant into me.
We arrived at the beach and I got Betty off as soon as I got off, I scooped her up bridal style and walked as quick as I could to the main tower. Once we go in I sat her down on the bed, we used for injuries. I saw the cuts on her face and hands, as well as her arms. I got out a cloth, then put some alcohol into it, then dabbed it, she hissed and I kissed her hand before I put all the stuff away.
She started to cry, I sat beside her and she leant into me as she cried, I pulled her onto my lap and she'd a few tears myself.

B-but if I didn't get so anxious in the crowd, and if I just swam closer to shore, and if I ju-
J-it's not your fault Betty, it really isn't. It caught you off guard. I'm sorry I let you get into that danger.
I fiddled with her hair, and I felt her finger draw patterns on my chest. She looked up at me, I looked down beside kissed her lips.
B-do you have and pickles?
I laughed and heard her giggle
