Scary Monsters: Chapter 3

3rd Person's POV:

*Flash! Flash*

"Hm?" Everyone look over to see Hugo, Victor and Laverne in the front yard with smartphones in their hands. "Hmm, good composition. Really shows off the dragon's power." Hugo said, "After everyone goes inside the dorm we can try a nice low angle." Victor said, "Y-you guys.... you have there... is that... Smartphones!?" Grim cried out in shock, "Oops, did you notice~?" Hugo teased, "Heeheehee. We were just so excited for Halloween... That we all bought smartphines this year~!" Laverne said happily, "We didn't know ghosts can use phones too." Andie said in surprise, "How do ghosts get phone contracts!?" Grim ask in shock.

"Since they're contracts with new phones, you can get turn online in no time." Laverne said, "The headmaster cosigned, we used the school's address and they passed review really quickly." Hugo said, "Grrrr. Andie and I have to share a phone, and we're alive!" Grim complained, "How in the hell can you even share my phone with me if you don't even have hands to hold it properly, you twigbrain?" Andie said while giving him an unamused glare. Grim blushed in embarrassment as Bobby, Bryan, Joey, Matt, Victor, Hugo, Laverne and Lilia snickered at the comeback.

"Heh-heh-heh. We're independent adults, after all~" Laverne laughed, "Not that there's anyone left in this world that I want to contract!" Lilia laughed with them, "Nice ghost joke. But there are a lot uses for smartphone beyond the phone." Lilia said, "Yeah! We want to fully enjoy Halloween, so I got Magicam!" Hugo said while holding his phone, "...I mean, my followers are only these guys and some ghost friends, altogether totalling 5." "But it's nice to have the memories, right?" Victor said as Hugo nodded at him.

"Yeah, exactly. Grim, Andie, guys turn this way." Laverne said as Andie picks Grim up in her arms, "Hm?"

*Flash*

Grim didn't pay attention as the flash went off, almost blinding him. Andie, Bobby, Bryan, Joey and Matt are the only ones who caught on and grinned with Andie, Bryan and Matt giving out the peace signs as the flash went off. After being around Cater for so long, they knew when to be photographed, even in a midsecond. "Heeheehee. A commemorative with our friends~" Laverne said as Grim rubs his eyes to unblind himself from the flash.

"Hah. You mean to tell me that ghosts can take..." When Laverne showed him the picture he took, Grim shouted, "It took!! It perfectly, distinctly took!? Usually without Andie's ghost camera, you can't get a pic at all!" "It's because it's almost Halloween." Laverne explained, "I see. That's why you bought a smartphone to go along with Halloween." Lilia said. "What's going on?"

"Halloween is the day this world and that world are the closest to each other." Lilia explained to Grim, "Ghosts are most powerful on Halloween. Around this time, it's really no trouble to take a picture. Well, as I said before, that's probably just on Night Raven College grounds."

Victor, Hugo and Laverne huddled together, looking at the photo album of pictures they just took. "Heeheehee. Our transparent bodues positively sparkle in beauty mode!" Laverne said happily, "Andie and the guys' eyes and little Grim's coat is so glossy. We took a good Halloween picture." Hugo said happily, "Hoo hoo hoo. And the scenery is so photogenic~" Victor said happily, "Umm, this photo..." Laverne began typing on Magicam. "Happy Halloween from everyone at the share house! #NRChalloween. Added a comment... and uploaded to Magicam!" Laverne said, finishing posting their picture on Magicam.

"If you're going to use my cool photos then so request a model fee of tuna cans!" Grim smirked, making the middle school best friends rolled their eyes at him, "Great, his ego is being boasted up even more than ususl." Bryan said, making Grim glare at him, "Don't be so stuff. We're gonna have fun all the way until October 31st, right?" Hugo encouraged, "Right now the whole school is bring decorated for Halloween, not just Ramshackle dorm." Lilia said, "You all should look forward to it too." "Happy Halloween! Heeheehee~!"
