Scary Monsters: Chapter 5

3rd Person's POV:

One month later--

8 days until Halloween

A month went by fast and it's close to Halloween. Right now, Andie, who is in her dorm outfit and her right hand man, Bobby, who is also in his dorm outfit, are in the lecture hall, sitting next to Deuce, while Bryan, Joey and Matt are waiting for them outside the hecture hall. While Grim back at the Ramshackle dorm with Victor, Hugo, Laverne, Loona and Opal keeping an eye on him, they kept quiet so they'll hear the meeting. "Are all members of the Halloween committee here?" Crowley said as he scan the room to see those who are picked and is in the room: Andie, Bobby, Jack, Deuce, Cater, Kalim, Jade, Azul, Idia, Lilia, Epel and Vil.

"Pomefiore members are here." Vil said, "Heartslabyul is OK~ Deuce-chan has been sitting here for an hour already." Cater said, making Deuce embarassed, "Oh, enthusiastic~! I won't lose to that." Kalim laughed, "Oh my, Idia-san. I see today we are getting a rare flesh and blood appearance instead of the tablet." Azul said to the Ignihyde's dorm leader, "Heeheehee... lots of stuff I want to see after this today!" Idia grins, "Is this everyone?" Jack asked, "Malleus is also on the committee, but... I just sent Silver and Sebek to go search for him! They should be back shortly, so if we could wait for a moment." Lilia informs, "Forgot to invite him again... at least Andrea and Robert got the memo..." Vil sighs.

"...seems I kept you waiting." Malleus said when he arrived, "Oh, you're here. So very glad they found you faster than anticipated." Lilia said as Malleus sat next to him. "Then it seems everyone is here." Jade nodded, "Eh... well, with that this meeting of Halloween Executive Committee can commence. So, committee head Schoenheit-kun! Please proceed as usual." Crowley said to Vil who stand up from his seat, "Hai." Vil walked up and stood on the podium. "... there are only 8 days until Halloween. Tomorrorw "Halloween Week" will start. Let us review the stamp rally operation guidelines one more time. During "Halloween Week", we will be hosting a stamp rally for the general public... When the visitors gather all 7 stamps and turn them in to the front gate will receive a present of candy."

"Using Halloween to give presents to all the locals coming in... That's our headmaster. Generous~" Cater sung a little at the end. "Well, yes. Those locals take care of us day after day, so of course we must thank them~" Crowley said happily, "It is only small bags of those candies that are less than 100 madol a piece, of course." Jade said, "What is important is our feelings of gratitude. F E E L I N G S!" "Please stop interrupting. If I may continue?" Vil said, looking a bit annoyed that he's being interrupted, "Keep going, Mr. Fairest of them all." Bobby said, Vil raised his eyebrow at him for the nickname, but is a bit flattered by it before continuing.

"The stamp rally will run from 10AM to 10PM. The stamp rally locations must be a staffed during that time to gice stamps to participate at that location. "Stamped will be exempt from classes. It is a lot of time to cover, but dorms should arrange for shifts." "A week of getting back to the dorm, quick shower, and dashing back out with no time to rest, huh." Jack mutter to himself, "10PM... that's where the day really begins, right..." Idia mutter to himself with a sigh. "This month... we've really had a ton to do and it's been difficult, but we gotta really show our spirit this week." Deuce said with a smile. "Truly, making both the costumes and places at the same time is enough work to make your eyes spin." Lilia said, smiling at Deuce's enthusiasm, "... the costumes were so difficult to prepare." Epel said, feeling exhausted. "Of course, they were. I, the dorm head of Pomefiore, am acting as the committee head, after all. In our dorm built around the spirit of beauty, I would certainly not stand for cheap costumes. But do not worry that your efforts were fruitless. We have create something magnificent." Vil smiles.

"Oh my. Everyone have this look on their face... You all certainly have confidence in your own work, hmm?" "Of course!" Everyone in the room said as Andie and Bobby, cover their mouths to prevent to laugh at their excitement. "Savanaclaw's set is awesome. Something only we could've done, something to take pride in." Jack smiles, " Octavinelle also has some extremely unique decorations. You should certainly all look forward to it." Jade jumps in with a smile, "Our costumes are gonna blow you away." Kalim squealed in excitement, "No no no, our dorm is definitely number one in refuding to compromise on costume details." Idia grin, "Hmph, that can't be. In any case... Let us go around to inspect the different dorm stamp rally locationd and costumes." Vil smirks, "Now, is everyone ready?" "Yeah~!!" Everyone cheers.

"Yep, yep. It's so lovely how enthusiastic you all are! No matter the students, everyone is always enthusiastic for Halloween, every year. Just think about what it would be like if they were always like this..." Crowley frowns to himself, "Should we get going? The stamp rally locations are all across campus, so it might take some time to get to all of them." Cater said, "Oh, that is true. Then first... let us head to the stamp rally location that Diasomnia has prepared. To give you some idea of what that is, the locstion Diasomnia dorm selected was..."

"Ramshackle dorm." Malleus answers, "I have always thought that there is no place more fitting for Halloween that ruin, even though Andrea redecorated the whole area with her magic." "Hey! We take offense to that before the redecorating bit, Mal!" Bobby said, turning to him with a glare of offensive and annoyance as Andie pouts with her arms crossed, also offended and annoyed. "... Sorry guys. Just don't listen to him." Deuce said with reassurance. "Alright, everyone. Let's commence the Halloween tour!" Crowley said as everyone leaves the lecture hall where Bryan, Joey and Matt are waiting. "About time! I was getting bored!" Matt said, "What happened?" Joey asked his best friends, "We'll tell you guys once the tour is over." Andie said, "Tour? What tour?" Bryan asked as he and the Watson twins are confused, "It's best if you guys come along to see for yourselves." Bobby said as the middle school best friends walk to catch up with the group.
