Scary Monsters: Chapter 1

3rd Person's POV:
The school bell ran, signaling that classes are over for the day. "Our tiresome classes are finally done for the day." Grim sighed, "Ok, guys. Let's get back to our dorm already so we can continue that game we started yesterday!" He pleaded as Andie, Bobby, Bryan, Joey and Matt put their books in their school bags.

"Alright, but no cheating this time." Andie said, raising an eyebrow at him, "I never cheat!" He pouts, "Sure you don't, dude." Matt said rolling his eyes as he and his brother and friends put their school bags over their head and shoulders. "Let's go." Andie said as Grim leaps on her shoulder and the group left the classroom and the school.

"I always feel like the Ramshackle form and the school are so far away from each other..." Grim whines, "That's because they are, Grim." Bobby said as they continue walking towards their home.

"Phew. We're here! We're h............ome......?" "What's wrong Grim?" Joey asked, they all follow Grim's gaze and stare in awe at the decorations that surround their dorm's front yard.

"Whoa~" Bryan said, "U-uwah---! A monster-----!!!" Grim scream as he jumps off of Andie's shoulder and pulls her leg. "Come on guys! We gotta get out of here!" "Calm down Grim. It's not real." Bobby reassures him. "Eh?" Grim looks confused as Andie walk through the gate and walk up to the fake dragon, freaking Grim out more. "Waaah!!! Andie, what are you doing?! So you want to be dragon food?!" He shrieks, "Relax Grim. Look." Andie knocks on the fake dragon three times and nothing happened. "See? It's fake." "Fake?!"

Grim ran up to the fake dragon and step on it's tail. "It didn't move!" He shrieks, looking more confused. "Of course it didn't, Grim. It's only a decoration." Joey said, "Decoration? For what?" Grim asked, before any of them answer his question. "Oh, you're back." Everyone turn to see Lilia in his P.E uniform hanging upside down. "Whoa--! A monster behind us too---!!!" Grim shrieks and ran to hide behind Bobby's leg. "Relax Grim. It's only Lilia." Andie reassured him, "Kufufu, what a good reaction~!" Lilia chortle, landed on his feet, "You all have returned sooner than I expected." "Y-y-you're.... from Diasomnia.... that guy who always appears upside down!" Grim shrieks while hiding behind Bobby's leg.

"Indeed. I am in fact the elusive bishunen known as Lilia Vanrouge." He introduced with a mischievous smile. "I'm confused. Why is there a fake dragon and a bunch of pumpkins in our dorm?" Grim asked curiously. "All of the dorm students are doing their best in putting up decorations on your dorm now." Lilia showed them if the work he have the students do while the group was gone.

"Let's get that dragon's tail to really stand out by using it to border the garden!" "Mmgmm mmhmm. Don't hold back. Make it as flashy as you want!" Lilia encourage them. "Yes!" "W-What's happening here.... Our dorm us becoming a monster mansion..! Oi! Don't just fiddle with our dorm however you like~!" Grim demands. Soon, all the Diasomia students noticed Andie, Bobby, Bryan, Joey and Matt. Their eyes widen and they all bowed to them.

"A pleasure to see you Andie-san, Bobby-san, Bryan-san, Joey-san and Matt-san." "We apologized for the inconvenience, the Headmaster ordered us to decorate your dorm." "Why am I not surprised?" Bobby said angrily, "That explains the decorations then." Joey said with an annoyed look, "That bird brain of a Headmaster gave you all the O.K without our permission!?" Andie said angrily. "That guy's doing what he wants again..." Bryan said blankly. "Now now, don't say that. It's finally Halloween!"

The moment Andie, Bobby, Bryan, Joey and Matt heard the word "Halloween", their eyes widen with joy and bright smiles appear, "Halloween's coming already!? Alright!" Andie said with Bobby, Bryan, Joey and Matt cheering, "Halloween is coming~! Halloween is coming~!" Lilia giggled at their excitement. "Indeed. Malleus said, "If it's time for Halloween, Ramshackle dorm is good". Aren't you thrilled? You all would never be able to achieve this level of gorgeous decoration on your own. But do not feel as if you must thank us. Everyone got to have fun on Halloween. Hahaha!"

"Heeheehee. You certainly are going flashy with it~" Laverne said as he, Victor and Hugo appear beside Lilia. "Oh, the ghosts have come to visit too." Lilia smiles, "Please feel free to boldly decorate our Andie, Bobby, Bryan, Joey, Matt and little Grim as well!" Victor chrips, "Diasomnia is certainly on a whole different level! Looks like it'll be an amazing Halloween this year!" Hugo complments, "Kufufu, there is no need for that sort of praise!" Lilia reassures with a grin. "...hey. I've been wondering, uh... You've been saying "helloveen" this whole time, what is that. For something to do with this surprise?" Grim asked curiously, which baffles Lilia, Victor, Hugo and Laverne.

"L-little Grim... are you saying that you don't know Halloween?" Laverne inquires, "Not a clue." Grim replied, shocking everyone but Andie, Bobby, Bryan, Joey and Matt. "What!?" They shrieked.
