Chapter 7: Satoki and Crow

Uzunya: Do you realize how hard it is to carry this thing?

Satoki and Uzunya were taking a stroll through a walking trail in the park. Satoki was opposed to the idea of taking him out after what happened last time, but Uzunya convinced him that he couldn't just stay in Satoki's room all day, every day. So, he agreed to take a quick walk in the nearby park, in his large hoodie disguise of course.

Satoki: I took you out like you wanted, be grateful. You know good and well no one can see you.

Uzunya: What's the big deal? Come on, I just wanna get outside, up and moving. But it's hard when I'M WEARING THIS GIANT RAG.

Satoki: Keep your voice down! We don't want to get attention! I've seen enough E.T. ripoffs to know what happens when you get caught, they do these weird tests on you, and then they think I got sick from you and they do tests on me too, and then we hit the national news, AND THEN-

A family passes by, it was a mother and father and their little boy. They were swinging the boy while each of them held his hands.

Father: Three! Two! One! Swing!

Boy: Wheeeee!! Again again!

As the family walked past the two, Satoki smiled. Seeing happy families always brought a bit of joy to him.

Uzunya: What are you smiling about?

Satoki: E-eh? Nothing.

Uzunya: You really do have a little heart!

Satoki: What?

Uzunya: And here I thought your body was hollow.

Satoki frowned looking outward, and noticed another figure near, coming his way.

Satoki: Hold on a second.. Is that..

Uzunya: How does one hold onto time?

Apparent in the distance, was a individual in a blackish dirty hoodie, it was of course, Crow

Satoki: Fudge.

Uzunya: What?

Satoki picked up Uzunya and tossed him into the woods next to the trail they were walking on.

Uzunya: WHAT THE-

Satoki: YEET

Uzunya: What's the big idea?!

Satoki: Shhhh! Zip it for a second!

Satoki noticed he was getting closer and gulped. Why did he have to be at the same park at the same time, he should have never gone out with Uzunya he thought. Uzunya peeked from a bush not too far and watched.

Crow: MURATA

Satoki pretended to only just notice him.

Satoki: Ohhh, uh, hi.

Crow: Fancy seeing you here! What might you be up to? Are you alone?

Satoki: Just taking a stroll, alone. And I prefer it to be that way.

He said that last part under his breath.

Crow: What was that thing you threw in the woods?

Satoki: uh.. A uh.. Raccoon..

Satoki cringed saying those words himself.

Crow: A Raccoon?

Satoki: It was self defense..?..

Crow had some suspicion but went along with it, or at least Satoki thought.

Crow: Right.. Well anyway Sa-to-ki,

He got closer to him with every syllable.

Crow: Notice anything off lately?

Satoki: ..nope.
