stepping out of your door and onto the pavement leading to the sidewalk, you sighed. it was your first day at hyakkaou academy and you were nervous to say the least. as you hobbled down the road looking like a gnome, you couldn't help but wonder what it would be like at your new school. ever since you were kicked out of the house by your mother, it seemed like things had gotten a lot better for you. when you were thirteen you were torn away from your best friends Kirari and ririka momobami, because you had to move away. with no real way of getting into contact with them you were stuck in a new country with no one to talk to or laugh with. 2 years later you moved back to japan, you always thought your mom would be supportive of you no matter what but i guess not.

"mom... i'm gay"
"what?" your mom questioned
"i'm gay, is there an issue" you were confused as to why your mom looked like a toaster strudel that got squeezed too hard.
"oh honey, you're just confused. that's all" she said with a light chuckle
"mom i'm not confused, i've known for a while. i've had crushes on girls before but i've never even looked at a man in a romantic way" you said, a small frown coming onto your face
"get out then"
"what? mom why are you acting like this?" you questioned starting to tear up a little
"i am not going to allow a gay to live under my roof, that's worse than eating dog shit" she growled
"o-okay, i'm sorry mom..." you were now crying your eyes out while walking up to your room and beginning to pack up your stuff.

but that was about a year ago. as you continued walking you finally found the academy. looking up at the prestigious school you shuddered, your best friends kirari and ririka taught you how to gamble and you were pretty okay at it. you knew this was a school for gambling which is why you enrolled in the first place. you were surprised that you got in, you heard it wasn't often that people got in so easily.
