And Sabrina get changed. She puts on a red dress and I put on a black dress, both given by Lilith.

"Wow... you look amazing, 'Brina..." I whisper...
"Thanks..." Sabrina smiles, "You look good too..."

"Great! Now, Sabrina will walk with me." Lilith announced.
"Why? Why can't she come with me?" I ask.
"The Queen must always comes with a big bang. Don't you agree?" She asks and I nod, unsurely...

Lilith teleport Sabrina away. I sigh, before looking at myself in the mirror. Is being Queen of Hell, truly worth it? I mean, the demons don't want me. They want Caliban. And I think I can trust Caliban, he does care about hell...

"Wow.. you look beautiful..." I turn around to see Caliban. "Happy Birthday..."
"Thank you..." I sigh again.
"I bought you a gift." He whispered.
"You did? You bought me a gift?" He nods and shows a necklace.

"That's the necklace Tommy gave me. I lost it. How did you find it?" I ask.
"After Pontius Pilate returned me to my cell, I found it on your side." He replied...

"Thank you." I whispered. He smiles. "Could you..."
"Oh, of course..." He helps me with my necklace..
"Again, thank you. I never thought I'd see it again... I guess I owe you one..."

"Well, you could repay me by saving your last dance for me..." He suggests.
"Absolutely..." I reply. He smiles once again before vanishing.

I smile again. Maybe I do want to go to the ball...

. . .

"And now please welcome, Queen Bridget of Hell..." Lilith announces. I walk through the door and I'm pretty sure no one cares, but 'smile and laugh'.

I go to Brina. She is talking about how the demons were talking about me behind my back.

"I mean, you're their Queen, they must have some respect for you!"
"I've gotten used to it. And why should I listen to a demon who knows nothing about me. They think that royals are just pretty princesses and crowns, and money and power. Believe it or not, I actually do care about the people. I want everyone to have a fair choice at life, but first I need their trust. And I know it'll take time.."

Sabrina shrugs, "Still. They shouldn't be talking about you like that."
I chuckle.

"My lady, would you like to dance?" A kinda' sexy demon asks Sabrina. Sexy? Did I think he was sexy? I have a look again? Yeah, he is kinda sexy...

I look at Sabrina who is reluctant. I motion her to go.

"Sure. But only one. And no talking. And try not to touch me too much!" Sabrina commands before walking to the middle of the court. Poor guy... He's following her like a puppy...

She looks at me, annoyed at why I told her to go. I smile. We speak with our minds.

Me: Shucks to be you, 'Brina!
Sabrina: I'm never doing anything with you, ever.
Me: Don't tell me, tell the hot guy you're dancing with.
Sabrina: Well... he is kinda hot. But not Caliban level, huh?
Me: Caliban? No,... just no...
Sabrina: Look at him. He's staring at you. With the 'I'm obsessed and in love with you and wanna be your boyfriend, and if not, husband' look
Me: No, he is not!

I look away from Sabrina to Caliban.

And yep, Caliban is looking at me. I walk somewhere else, not looking at him for a few minutes. I look to see him still staring at me.

I walk to him and he looks away.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I ask.
"Looking at you how?" He asks.
"You know how!" I reply.
"I don't know what you are talking about." He looks away.
"Oh." I say, still convinced that I was right.

I, again, walk away as 'Brina and her hot demon guy stop dancing. 'Brina follows me.

"This is kinda fun, right?" I ask.
Sabrina looks at me. "Are you okay? This ball, and fun? Almost the entire population of this court hates us."
I stop smiling, "Yeah, you're right..."

So, it's almost 12am. I've danced with 1 or 2 demons. One demon comes up to me.

"Would you like a dance my Queen?" He asks. I widen my eyes. Unsure if I should say yes or no.

"Forgive me, but I recall the Queen promised me her last dance..." Caliban interrupts, "My Queen?" He lends a hand, "Would you like to dance?"
I smile, "I'd love to!"

We walk away, "Thank you for helping me out there." I whisper.
"Well, it's not much of a problem." We start dancing. "I know him. The demon." Caliban whispers, "He's from the city of Lust. I doubt his intentions were innocent."

"Wow, what a nice way to say thst a demon was trying to seduce me. Lovely!" I sarcastically say. He laughs.
And because this is the last and longest dance of the night, all the other demons join in.

"Wanna get away from here?" Caliban asks. I raise my eyebrows, "Trust me. Don't you?" He asks.
"I certainly don't recall the time that you left me and my friends at a carnival to be killed by a specific king."

"Please?" He begs.
"Fine, but where?" I ask.
"Just come." He takes my arm and we quickly get past the ball doors...
