Chapter 23: Touched, kissed, loved.

"So, what is it that you wanted to show me?" I ask.
"This.." He opens a door.

It's a terrace. I walked towards it to see the most beautiful view I had ever seen.

"Wow... it's beautiful..." I whisper.
"Very beautiful indeed..." He whispered back looking at me. I lightly smile.

"This is hell, right? Who knew that even hell had a good side." I look at the beauty once again.
"Hell is a vast realm. Enter it, and it horrid. Discover it and it's the most majestic thing you'll ever see..." He replies and I nod.

"So, why did you save me from that guy?" I ask.
"Like, I said, his intentions with you probably weren't good..." He replies and I nod.
"Thank you though.. for the gift, and the dance... just thank you in general.."

"It's okay.. And anyways, what even happened between the mortal and you?"
"The mortal as in Tommy?" I ask.
"Yes. I know that you liked him, but if the necklace matters to you as much as I think it does, then it's much more that just a liking."

"You sure? It's kinda a long story." I ask.
"Yes, I'm sure." He replies.

"Okay then." I sigh. "I was 8, when I moved to Greendale with my parents. There was a coven that wanted to help me with my 'talents'. The Riverdale coven, the church of Shadows thought I was a half-breed like Sabrina. They didn't want to help me. Like at all. The Greendale coven did. So, I was taught in secret till I was 14, when Sabrina found that I was a supernatural being."
"I thought you guys met earlier?" Caliban questioned.

"Oh, we did. For 6 hours, I went to mortal school, and when I came home, 4 hours of witching school. Me and Sabrina thought that each other were both mortals. Eventually, I went to the Academy of Unseen arts with Sabrina when she found out. That's how I came to Greendale and became friends with Sabrina."

"How is the Mortal relevant in this?" Caliban asks.
"Let's sit down first. We'll be standing all day if I tell you now." We sit down, "So, Sabrina and Harvey were friends their whole life before they were together, and Tommy was Harvey's older brother, by like a year and a half. Because I was Sabrina's friend, I met Harvey, Roz, Theo and we became the best of friends. We would always go to Harvey's house and I would always see Tommy. I had a crush on him for like 6 years before we first kissed."

"6 years... that's a long time.."

"Yeah, it is... Anyways, I never told anyone except for Theo about my crush on Tommy. Sabrina and Roz would both tell Harvey straight away. As we grew up, Sabrina and Harvey became the dream couple... This meant, that I couldn't tell Tommy about my crush."

"Why not?" Caliban asks.
"I don't know. I didn't want my crush on Tommy to affect Harvey and Sabrina's relationship. Stupid, I know... Anyways, one day... we.. kissed."
"Kissed? Like lip to lip kiss or..."
"Lip to lip.. Can we not talk about how I kissed my dead boyfriend?!"
"Continue.."

"Anyways, we agreed not to tell Harvey or Sabrina but me being the idiot I am, kissed him again and they caught us. Turns out, they already knew but wanted us to say something to them before they said anything to me or to Tommy. So, me and Tommy started dating..." I say and Caliban nods, "Then the feast of feasts happened. And Dorcas and Agatha..." I wipe my tears away before taking a deep breath and smiling.

"They killed him..." He realizes. I lick my bottom lip and smile again.
"Why? Why did they kill him?" He asks.
"Tommy's ancestors were witch hunters. Agatha and Dorcas didn't like that..."
"But the Morningstar's daughter. She resurrected him, right?"
"It didn't go to well.." Another tear escapes my eye, I laugh whilst wiping it away, "Why am I crying?"

"I thought the mortal was just a desire to you. Not a completed treasure..." He whispers...
"He was much more than that, Caliban... Anyways... You know about me, and Tommy. Tell me about yourself."

"What, about me?"
"Have you ever fallen in love?" I ask.
"Love is a waste of time. It's nonsense." He replies. I look at him again.
"You have... haven't you?" I ask, again.
"No.."
"Yes, you have. I can see it on your face!"

"No!" He complained.
"Yes!" I pestered.
"No!"
"Yes!"
"No!"
"Yes!!"
"Fine! Yes, once.." He admitted.

"I knew it!" I shouted. "So, who was she?"
"Who is she?" He questioned my question.
"Is? Not was?" I ask.
"Yep..." He smiles.

"Well, I still wanna know who she is!" I command.
"You do?" He asks.
"Yea, I do.." I whisper.

His lips crash on mine. Damn it! Why does that feel good... He does it over and over again and each time it feels even more good! He pulls away..

"That's who.." He whispers..
I jump up, "I... I'm sorry. I think I should leave. This wasn't appropriate.. Like... Ever.." I run away..
"Wait!" He calls out as I leave..

I return back to the court to see the same demon who asked for a dance from Sabrina with her...

"Are you okay? Where did you go?" Lilith asks.
"I... um... some fresh air..." I respond.
"Oh... Where is Caliban?" She asks.
"I'm not sure... Just please make sure he doesn't come near me.." I beg.
"Why? Did something happen?" She asks suspiciously...

"No... nothing.. I just wanna talk to him.." I say..
"You were dancing with him 20 minutes ago..." Lilith picks up.
"I know.. just please... I beg you! And please don't give me one of those 'Queens don't beg' pep talks!" I exclaim and walk away...

I see Sabrina again... She finally looks happy.. since Nick. I can't tell her and ruin it. Her and that demon are hitting it off well...

"Hi..." I say to 'Brina...
"Hi... Manston here was just tell me a bit about himself..." Sabrina smiles..
"Forgive me, My Lady. My Queen. But my father is requesting my presence..." He apologises.
"Father?"
"Lord Beelzebub..." He informs.

I give wide eyes to Sabrina before faking laughing, "Lord Beelzebub... What a... swell guy!"
He smiles before leaving.

"I didn't know!" Sabrina exclaims before I say anything else.
"It's okay! I know... it's Beelzebub... he's tryna get me to lose..." I sigh.

"So what happened between you and Caliban?" 'Brina asks..
"Nothing.." I sigh before Caliban appears..
"Are you lying to me? Seriously, Bri!?"
"Fine! If you really wanna know soo badly, then, Caliban just told me he loves me! And I don't know how I'm supposed to react to that, because I don't love him!" I blurt out..

"Bridget... look at who is behind you..." 'Brina points out. I turn around. Oh my god!
