"Why is it called a Pygmalion Spell?" I ask, looking up to him.
"Don't you know the myth of Pygmalion?" He asks, surprised that I even asked this question. I shake my head and frown as I skim through the book and then look at him again.

"He was a sculptor. Carved a woman made of ivory... Pygmalion fell in love with his statue... Wished it alive..." He whispers as he lightly smiles, "He made an offering to the Gods, and promised that he would give up his greatest love. Sculpting, and in exchange, when Pygmalion kissed the statue... She'd turn to flesh..."

Tears form in my eyes and I continue to say, "That's beautiful..."
"Why are you crying?" Caliban asks, furring his eyebrows.
I wipe them away and answer, "You wouldn't understand... and we have a spell to find..." I get up and walk away to the other bookshelf.

"And a proposal to discuss, which you promised to consider..." Caliban calls out. I roll my eyes, figuratively, at myself, then turn around, to face him so I can hear what he wants to say. I see him holding the book that he was reading and walking towards me.

"We could... compete against each other to find the 3rd item of the Unholy Regalia, Judas's 30 pieces of silver, or... we could work together to find them..." He suggests.
"Who would win the throne, in that case?" I ask, confused.

"We both would,... we could align, rule hell together..." He states and lightly smiles.
"Allign?" I ask.
His expression changes, "Get married."
"Married!" I chuckle, "I think we want different things, Caliban?"
"Are you certain of that?"

"A hundred percent! I don't want to turn the earth in the tenth circle of hell for starters!" I explain.
"What if I took that off the table?" He recommends.
"Is this a negotiation? Because if so, I'm still not marrying you, Caliban! A. I don't like you.."

"Then make me a counter offer then, and I'll give you this spell I just found..." He tries to bribe me. Why does he wanna marry me in the first place?
"Is that it? The pygmalion spell?" I ask.
He shuts the book and instead of answering my question, he asks me "What will you trade me for it? To save your friend and stabilise the realms..."

"Are we seriously having this conversation?"
"A monarch must know how to compromise..."

I quickly consider it and reply with, "Well, as you suggest... earth would be off limits and there will be no ensalvement of anyone..."
"But what would be do instead?"
"We'd reform the hell that already exists. Make it better. Work with heaven instead of against it maybe...?"
"Work with heaven? You think they would do that?"

"Caliban. Why do you even want to be king?" I ask.
"Same reason you want to be Queen,.. power..."
I study him with my eyes before replying, "I'd need certain things in writing from you, at first... And to be clear, 'our' alignment would be political and not romantic."

"Carnal?" He suggestes, shamelessly.
I fur my eyebrows in disgust and whisper, "What is wrong with you?"
He smirks and roll my eyes at him.

"Caliban, you do realise. I'm not doing this for you. I'm doing it for Sabrina, She's basically my sister." I clearly state to him.
"Why not?" He asks.
"BECAUSE.... I'd never thought that, I could resent someone as much as I resent you!"
"Perhaps we should... continue this discussion after we cure your friend? Your heart might've softened towards me by then.." He whispers, clearly upset.

DAMN IT! WHY DID I SAY THAT! I don't hate Caliban, he just annoys the shit out of me...

. . .

Me and Caliban arrive at Harvey's.
"Oh, no, Harvey..." I whisper as I see Roz in her stone form, in pieces. Sabrina arrives.
"Hey, what happ- OH MY GOSH! ROZ!" 'Brina rushes to her side...,"Harvey, what happened!?"
"Roz broke. I don't know what happened! I left for 15 minutes and came back, and she was like this!"
