He was inviting me out on a date.

We have met, I'm sure you remember

Then, I was undoubtedly convinced that it was Taehyung. It couldn't have been a coincidence anymore. With excitement itching in my fingers, my heart soared once I opened the box. There was a beautiful lavender dress inside, waiting for me to put it on.

There was a card spread out at the bottom that read: Tonight at 8pm, meet me at the pier, love.

I glanced at the screen on my phone, noting that it was three hours away. I went right ahead and took a shower, washed my hair and curled it. I kept my make up simple before putting on the dress. It fit me well, reaching down to my mid-thigh while the material slightly sparkled under the lights.

By the time I looked at myself in the mirror a good couple of times, I figured I could slowly leave, sparing myself some time with arriving early. On the hallway, I put on my flats because I couldn't drive with my heels on, but I took them with me though, assuring myself that it was okay to put them on later.

A thought crossed my mind, bringing a smile on my face, and I turned to the box of chocolates, opening it to reveal one piece left. Without any second thoughts, I plopped it in my mouth and savored the melting sweetness.

I quickly grabbed my white crossbody bag and rushed to the front door. My heart was beating a little faster then, thoughts of the date sinking in. It was real.

I stepped out of my car, heels clicking on the pavement once I arrived at the chosen spot. A man's back was turned to me and he seemed to be looking ahead at the swaying boats and twinkling lights in the distance.

With shaky hands and deep breaths, I approached slowly.

"Hello?" I found myself voicing nervously.

The man turned around and my eyes melted at the sight. His almond eyes gleamed under the lights, and his tousled hair lightly moved with the breeze. He was standing there, effortlessly beautiful, with a white button up shirt and a cream colored suit.
