Beth called us over to see a mystery man laying on one of her daugthers bed with a bloody gun shot

"Come on I thought we were done with that" Ruby says

Anne agrees "yeah, what the hell?" She questions

Those two may have wanted the normal life back but Beth wasn't ready to go back to being a housewife

Beth confesses "I offered to do another job" looking at us all

Ruby eyes go wide as well as mine so does Annes

Anne then laughs suprised it wasnt her who messed up this time

"We all still need the money" Beth tries to defend her decision while her younger sister snickers in the background

"So you asked for this?" I question pointing at the bed not understanding this womans desire to have danger in her life

"No well not this" Beth retorts pointing at the guy on the bed

We all stop to look at Annes snickering figure "im sorry I just cant belive its you and not me " she points looking at beth

Then Beth amd Ruby go back and forth then Anne goes for tbe guys phone successfully getting it

Later on Rio is in the Backyard of Beth Bollands house listening to the girls basically voice complaints about the job

Thats not what I meant when I sad we'd do another job Beth confesses standing in front of Rio

I am sitting outside in a chair eating chips and guacamole in peace zoning out of the conversation

When I pick up a chip going in for a big bite when I do everyone pauses to look at me my cheeks get warm with embarassment

"Sorry" I say muffled by the chips Rio chuckles a little bit then looks back at Beth

"Who is that guy?" Beth asks

"He works for me" Rio states as if its known to every person in the room

"Does he wash the money?" Anne asks

Beth interupts "regardless there's been a miscommunication" she speaks up

Rio looks away at me then he looks back to Beth trying to get back to business "oh, so you think you can pick and choose what you wanna do nd when you wann do it"

I look down continue to eat hating when he gets upset not even gonna lie when he gets upset he is scary so I just back off

"She thought it would be like driving for uber" Ruby speaks with monotone in her voice

"Who fault is not important" Beth states already knowing she made dumb move but she continues with "we are not qualified to take care of a gunshot victim "

"You friend needs professional medical attentiom" she finishes

"Your shaking your head, why are you shaking your head?" Beth asks curiously

A small smile graces my face then I get up walking towards the back door so I go back inside but Rio is in my way

"Excuse me" comes out of my mouth as I look down at Rio he looks up at me then stands up getting in my personal space licking his pink lips then moves over to the side I close the door behind

As I hear muffled voices meaning they are still talking

After I leave the house I go to the gun range alone needing a break from mundane activities I put my glasses on tbe headphones I pick up my guns shooting the target multiple times

Until I run out of bullet then I get some more by the time I am done its late I take off my headphones putting the items back going in the locker room

"This is where you've been hiding" I hear Rio voice I turn around to see him leaning against the wall

"Sorry about that I just needed a minute" I explain reaching him only to wrap my arms around his waist

"You dont know bad I wanted to speak to you when she was talking to me" he confesses pulling some black curls away from my face

"Yeah I could tell by the way you were looking at me" I joke back chuckling then I lean up to peck his lips

"So why did you come here?" He asks looking around the lockeroom

"I just needed some space to myself" I confess "and I wanted to let off some steam" I finish

"Thats cool but just let me know next time I got worried" Rio says I let go of him to go grab my things

After I get my things he wraps his arm around my shoulder pulling me closer then planting a wet kiss on my cheek as we make our way home

Days later the girls wanna meet up with Rio at a store so of course I tag along with the trio we arrive to see the Gangbanger with a black hood on his head and a drink in his hand

All four of us sit down at the table the girls throw out their idea for washing cash and eventually is gets him bored

I zone out but I do notice the whole time Rio is staring me down and Beth is looking at him like he is a peice of meat granted they dont know we are together

But..I will still shoot a bitch

After Rio leaves Anne asks "how come he keeps staring at you?" That instantly snaps me out of my thoughts

"What do you mean?" I ask playing dumb

"The whole time we were talking he was making heart eyes at you" she explains I shrug explaining to her I zoned out the whole time

Beth looks at with a look I cannot read then Ruby looks over at me "if he has a thing for my sister we could use that to our advantage" she points out

I cross my arms over my chest raising one of my arched brows not exactly liking that idea

Rio is my cute little gangster I could never hurt him
