Chapter 5

Mikey was walking down the don't road as he was holding a crat full of empty glasses while he was heading to the mayors place while Mikey was seeing Haru there standing by the door as if hesitating to go in as he smiled and stood right by her. " need to talk to the mayor?"
She looked to him looking surprised as he then smiled telling Jim calmly. " yes... I have a favor to ask but I'm nervous he might reject my idea. "
Mikey laughed as he opened the for as well for her. " never know unless you ask. "
She nods and walks in the halls as she followed Mikey to the office as she would look around examining the area for anything that could make her feel suspisuee. When Mikey opened the door she saw the old rat there as mikey place his empty glasses to the ground and a hand to the desk. " Father Haru would like to talk to you."
Splinter looked to him then at her as he smiled and thanked mikey as he nods turning around to walk out as he said low. " good luck. "
She turned to him as he closed the door then turned back to Splinter as she felt nervous actually while she would stand there fondling with her fingers. " what can I do for you
Haru?"
She opened her mouth to speak as she would also walk closer to sit in the chair inform of splinters desk. " yes I uhh... Wanted to..."
She never thought she would be talking to the mayor since she just wanted to get in to look around at his office but then something came to her head as she finished. " I was wondering if it was okay I help Donatello... He seemed to be working so hard that he might need help with making medications. "
Splinter looked at her surprised while he asked her with his hands together in front of his mouth. " you know how to make medicine as well?"
She smiled and nods her head. " yes I'm very well known to herds and I could probably teach him a few new ones too. "
Splinter looked at her as she felt that he was looking at her in a hesitation way making her nervous. " alright let's head over there and tell him. It is a release for someone to help him like this. "
" you are?" She asked surprised as he nods while standing up grabbing his can as he walked slowly over to pass her and her to follow while they both left the office. " yes my son Donatello is very caring for others and wants everyone to be happy and healthy... But that makes me worry for his well being and happiness. "
She looked ahead as she got to the door out of his building while they started to head to Donnie's office. To his father's no surprise when they got there she looked to see Donnie sleeping as his head was resting on his arms that were on his desk as he was sleeping as if peacefully. " does he rarely sleep?"
Splinter nods his head as he goes over to Donnie and rubs his back to try and wake him. " he worries about others so much he falls asleep during his working hours..."
Haru didn't know why but she felt guilty as she walked over and spoke to splinter to comfort him. " let him sleep I'll see what he needs to be done and do them. "
Splinter smiled at her as he placed his hand to her hand parting it. " thank you so much my child it will make this old rat feel less worried about him. "
" of course," she said smiling as Splinter then left as she smiled and walked to him leaving. But once he was gone she frowned and looked to him as she crossed her arms looking at him sleep on his desk. ' this turtle wasting his energy on useless things like caring... You only have to care for yourself...'
She looked to the backroom to see what he was working with till she widened her eyes seeing a woman there a she looked to be an Indian while she went overseeing paperwork as she read them. ' she is in a coma? Why a median they could kill anyone here in a second...'
Then she heard the door open as she put the papers down and walked over to see one of the other titles as he looked more muscular than the other while she put on a smile. " hello uhh sorry I forgot your name."
" it's Raph. What are you doing here?" He asked as she leaned nervously as she said placing a hand to Donnie's back shell. " the mayor your father was happy to hear I wanted to help Donatello in his office since it looks like he does not rest also so I'm going to be his assistant. "
" Oh..." He said as he then started to walk to the back as he told her. " I just come most days checking on a friend of mine. "
She watched him go to the back as she would think to herself. ' he is friends with that Indian... This family is so weird....how can they cope with everything?'
As she then looked to Donnie she then went they his papers on the desk he was sleeping on as she saw what needed to be done as she would go and do them.
She could see how this would make Donnie tired sense this would make her lose the take of time while it would be passed 2 hours that passed and felt like it was just 2 minutes while she was grinding some herds he had around as she was trying to make medicine he had listed. It seemed a little hard but she saw getting there while she would stand there. Not noticing Donnie was waking up she to focus on what she was doing while Donnie sat up looking dazed till he looked to his right seeing Haru there. " Haru?"
