Chapter 9 - Was that the Boogeyman?

Myers House:
Loomis continues to wait for Michael outside the house, but still no sight of him anywhere. He looks down the road and his eyes widen as he sees Nurse Chambers' car from the night Michael escaped from Smith's Grove. He runs towards the car and sees that the car was abandoned and just parked on the side of the street. He looks around and tries to figure out where Michael could have gone before running off.

Meanwhile:

Nick walks to the house with the house with his eyes narrowed in suspicion and with the wind blowing at him. As he walks up the steps and reaches the front door, he rings the doorbell before knocking on the door.

Nick: Bob? Lynda? Annie?

He walks away from the door when no one answered.

Nick: (To windows) Lynda?

He walks to the side of the house and continues to find them with his suspicions rising.

Nick: Annie?

He continues to walk until he sees the back doors open. He raises and eyebrow when he peeks his head in.

Nick: Annie? Lynda? (Walks into the darkened room) Bob?

As he walks in, he closes the door behind him and locks the door next to him.

Nick: Alright Annie, jokes over.

He continues to walk around the darkened house and looks around the corner, only to see no one there. He shakes his head and walks into the living room before he turns around as he hears a noise behind him.

Nick: (Scoffs) Alright, guys. Jokes over, come on out. Okay, seriously guys, this isn't funny, so come on out!

He walks to the stairs and walks up the stairs slowly and as he reaches the next floor he sees light coming through the crack of a door. He slowly walks to the room before opening it and he looks shocked to see his sister's body lying on a bed with a grave with the name Judith Myers.

Nick: No. No, no, no. Annie! (Runs to her and kneels beside her) Annie! Oh, God!

As tears fall down his face, he stands up before walking backwards to the closet and he yells as Bob's body falls and hangs above the closet. The door next to him opens and he quickly moves away as he sees Lynda's body in there. He runs out of the room and moves against a wall as he freaks out and wonders what kind of psycho would do that to his sister and friends. He doesn't know that next to him is Michael standing in the dark.

He yells as Michael cuts his arm with his knife and he falls over the railing and lands at the bottom of the stair case in pain. He gets back up as he sees Michael about to start walking down the stair case and finish the job. He limps quickly toward the front door but it was locked. As he sees Michael close to the first floor, he limps away into the kitchen. He locks the door and runs to the glass doors.

He tries to open one of the doors, but they wouldn't open. As he was doing that, Michael tries to open the door only to realize that Nick had locked it. While Nick continues to try and get the door open, Michael puts a hole into the door and unlocks the door. As Michael does that, Nick decides to punch one of the glass windows and moves the rake that was blocking it before picking it up and hits Michael with it and knocks Michael down.

As he was down, Nick runs with his limp.

Nick: Hey! Help me! Please, anybody! (Runs to the house next door and hits the door) Somebody help, please! (The light turns on above him and runs to the side to see someone in the window) Ma'am, please help me! (The woman closes her blinds thinking it's some Halloween prank) Can't you hear me?! (The light above him turns off) Damn it!!
