8) Acceptance of Gang Orca

We are in class 1A, the day after the festival.

Shouta: Ok, class, you have to do something very important today. Choose your names. To help you in this task we will have-

Midnight: ME! We will decide your names together.

The class then began deciding their own names for future heroes. Some have gone with more ... particular names, like Aoyama with "can't spot twinkling". Others went on the safe side like Tenya who just went with "Tenya". It was then Izumi's turn, and on the podium she showed her hero name. "Titan".

Izumi: I had decided on this name since I was little ... A friend of mine gave it to me.

*Flashback*

Izumi, Izuku and everyone else in the group were playing when Izuku stopped to look towards Izumi.

Izuku: You know Izumi, you are really awesome and I'm sure you will become unbeatable. You will be just like a Titan!

*End Flashback*

Midnight: Beautiful, I like the name, it inspires confidence! Whoever this friend of yours is, thank them for the idea.

Izumi: S-sure.

Izumi then returned to her place and the day moved on. The next day, the internship had officially begun and All Might wanted Izumi to intern with his old teacher, Gran Torino, and so Izumi did. Gran Torino was ruthless and trained Izumi to the end.

GT: Izumi, I never understood your idealism. I know your father's, but what is yours?

Izumi: Well, I want to help as many people as possible and most of all I want to make life easier for the quirkless and those with weak quirks. After everything I've done to my brother, that's the least I can do.

GT: Mh, what you did to your brother is really unacceptable but I find it good that you understand your mistakes and are trying to make up for it as best you can. Now let's continue the training.

Meanwhile, with Izuku.

Izuku was jumping from roof to roof to stop at a hostage situation. Izuku saw Gang Orca ready to enter but he entered the scene first.

Shade: Gang Orca, we both know you're not good with hostage situations. Do you want a hand.

Gang Orca then turned to come face to face with Shade.

Gang Orca: ... Why should I get help from you, Shade?

Shade: I already told you, we both know that you are not the best with an obstruction situation. What's the situation?

Gang Orca: ... An armed man has taken twenty people hostage, on the third top floor of this building. Its quirk is not entirely clear, but we know it is capable of transforming itself into a gaseous substance, making it intangible. If we get close he has warned that he will kill all the hostages ... A quirk that makes someone disappear is what we need, and I would say that you are equipped, right Shade?

Shade then smiled.

Shade: See you at the end of the mission Gang Orca.

Shade then teleported to the top floor, becoming invisible with the shadows. Once inside he saw the situation and approached the man who had temporarily the quirk deactivated and Izuku took advantage of it to steal the quirk from the man and then KO him.

Shade then freed all the hostages, and took the villain to Gang Orca.

Shade: Done.

Gang Orca: ... Mh, I think I was wrong about you Shade ... Who knows, maybe you really are a hero.
