Me : Yeah... sorry I got a bit occupied.
I had got caught up in thinking about Sky's disappearance that I had forgotten to reply to Brad. It was unlike Sky to just not call or text me for such a long time, now I was really worried.
Brad : Well I was asking if you cuffed?
Me : As in married? No no no I'm not married
Brad : Lol you know what I mean
Me : Morally...yes
Technically...no
Brad : What does that mean?
Me : It means I'm not married but I'm still equally as loyal to my boyfriend
Brad : So if I were to shoot my shots would those shots be in vain?
Me : yes
I said yes but the rate at which my heart was beating and the butterflies at the pit of my stomach said otherwise.
Brad : I commend that
Me : wait... Brad don't you have a girlfriend?
Brad : I do...
That's weird...

A whole week passed without talking to Brad after our little intense conversation, I missed him...
During that week I had found out that Sky's phone had gotten broken and he himself had broken a leg during a soccer game and that's why he hadn't been able to text me. He had started using his mom's phone to call me whenever he could - sweet I know - but I just didn't like Sky like that anymore no matter what he tried.

Brad : How are you doing?
Me : I'm good you?
Brad : Good...
At first our conversation was awkward but we finally cleared the air and even decided to just be friends since both of us had partners, Yay!

Me : So what are you up to tommorow friend?
Brad : Nothing much, why?
Me : Wanna meet up? I'm gonna be in town tommorow.
Brad : Yeah sure what time ?
Me : I'll let you know in the morning.
Brad : Can't wait...
Weird part is, Brad and I had known each other for a whole month now but we had never met. I couldn't even sleep at night because of excitement...
